Dick’s first thought for a nice date for MK was a home cooked meal… and then that thought was instantly tossed in the bin for not being impressive enough, so did idea two, and three. He had lost count of ideas when he started searching through Nightwake for a fancy restaurant.

It had taken him a while to find a restaurant that looked fancy enough, and then he had to save up for it. He could have asked Paulo for a loan until his next quest but it was important to him that he pulled this all off himself.

And he had, everything was in place and Dick brushed some imaginary dust off his suit as he knocked the back entrance to the Dealers Den hoping MK could hear it from the flat upstairs.

MK had no idea what Dick was planning. He was thinking they should go on a date sometime soon though. They were boyfriends and dates were part of that. Still, other things were coming up a lot. Which is why MK is surprised when he hears the knock on the door. He heads down the stairs. He might not have the hearing of Macaque but he could hear that. He opened the door and his face lit up seeing Dick all dressed up.

"Well hey there. Look at you. You look like you could work here. Come on in," MK said and stepped aside for Dick to come in.

"Uh, actually, I was hoping you could come out instead?" Dick said with a smile and a happily curled tail while internally he was freaking out as he realsied he had forgotten to TELL MK that he had arranged a date.

'Please don't say something's blown up while I wasn't looking.'

MK looked fine so it should be all okay right? Right.

"Oh sure," MK said and stepped out, closing the door behind him. He locked it before he turned back to Dick, his own tail swaying behind him.

"So where are we going?" MK hadn't put two and two together yet. Sorry, Dick. Your boyfriend is still very dense.

Dick is starting to worry he might be stupidsexual because MK was just being so endearing and adorable right now. So Dick just cupped MK's cheek to draw his face closer and whispered in the Monkey's ear.

"I'm taking you out on a date~"

At the same time his tail swished to try and catch MK's so they could curl around each other.

MK leans into the touch and moves in. He shivers with the whisper because oh. Ooooh! It's a date! Of course it is. Also Dick being a suave is sexy as hell! He shivers as his tail curls around Dick's and he laces their fingers together. Still a blushing idiot.

"Oooh. Okay. That's awesome. Let's go."

Oh thank goodness, date was still a go!

Dick leads MK to a small but sleek looking black car. Dick wasn't able to afford anything as fancy as a limo but he still thought it was pretty slick.

Kissing MK on the cheek he stepped away and opened one of the back doors bowing a little as he gestured for MK to enter the car.

"Your chariot awaits."

MK smiles and bows back.

"Such a gentleman~" He slips into the sleek black car. He scoots over and looks around, feeling the seats. He puts on his seatbelt.

"Ooooh. This is nice~ Never been in a car this nice before."

"I try to be." Dick smirked, before adding with a wink; "Because you deserve it."

"Really?" Dick asked surprised. And here he was worried it wouldn't be nice enough!

"I'll take the scenic route so you can enjoy it then." Dick says as he slides into the drivers seat.

MK chuckles and blushes slightly.

"Really. I mean, the fanciest thing I've been in is a flying ship but it wasn't like this fancy. It was cool but not fancy. This is nice."

MK relaxes into his seat, his monkey tail flicking happily behind him.

"Means we get to spend more time together. How was your day?"
