[Leo had SO much to say about cats. He didn't even have an apartment and he took care of his cat fine.]

He was right.

Good to know. [He is coming over! For the cats! Setting down his coffee.] So how DID you get a bunch of kittens in your hair?

Always good to hear. I can't tell you how many people thought taking care of their pets was just letting them be outside forever.

[Cute.]

[He is settling down behind her.]

Some people can't be bothered to just take them to the shelter. [A dramatic sigh, but he's going to get to work on trying to extract these kitties. At least he's had practiced at grooming now.] It is kind of like a cat tree and so many strings.

You'd think. I'm not entirely sure why someone wants a pet if they're always out of the house. Like they just want something they can pet sometimes.

[He'll make sure to pick out those twigs and leaves and all that too. We're going full grooming. All sorts of practice.] Difficult to say. The box under a bench says human abandonment. So the mom could be anywhere. But the mom could also be very upset about her babies missing, but tracking a cat is a lot harder than humans.

I've been practicing a lot with Macaque. [No shame. Monkey has been wanting all the practice.] He must have been rather small though. [She has a lot of hair, but the weight alone for staying in there could be a problem.]
schrodingerscockroach: (That's adorable)

People suck sometimes. [Unfortunately.]

Oh? You got super senses too? [Always good to know. Also the babies are in SUCH safe hands. He has the safest hands for kittens. Now he just has to find them.]

It is very nice fur. Very soft. And he's probably blushing up a storm if he's listening.

Ooh, size changing? That's fun.

....how far back? [How long has it been????] These places do like to do that, I've heard. Usually I just get a bit more squishy.

[He hummed.] Do love a good menacing of him. He's really cute when he blushes.

Honestly, I'm really digging portal stuff. Great way to yeet your problems. Sounds great. Mac's spoiling me about it.

[There is a pause at that.] How do you even remember a few months amongst all that? [Even with all the amnesia.]

Oh, I know. His face is cute and they're really cute. He gave me permission to touch them and I cannot tell you how often I want to abuse that privilege. [The cute is real.]

[Oh no. Oh no, the cute babies.]

Hold up, found a kitten. [WE HAVE PRIORITIES, MA'AM. And the priorities are carefully extracting adorable kittens from hair.]

....

[He does smile and chuckles a bit.] Who knew you could be so sappy. [Its an affectionate teasing.] But it is nice to hear.

I'm not so much of a singer. [Just saying.]

[BUT ALSO]

[KITTEN.]

[He is going to carefully untangle the kittens.] There, there. Its okay. [Soft and gentle. Only stilling when they get bitey or clawy, let them get the aggression out and show he isn't here for a fight, and then work on untangling more.]
