Party time, party time

All those months of work are paying off, and Rinku and Mary have moved to Solarpeak! Their new house, a beach-stilt-style house in walking distance from the Summer Guild building, is bright inside and out, and today there are balloons and games set up underneath the house and a wide-open door up the stairs leading into it.

Anyone who knows Rinku and/or Mary will have been invited to party; housewarming gifts are accepted but not required, and food is provided, ordered in from nearby restaurants. The bedrooms are closed but everywhere else is open, and if you need to get away from the party, you can go sit outside... or if Mecchan isn't scared of you, he might let you chill in his room for a while. Otherwise, have fun with the games, the art room, the music room, the food, and anything else!

[The first thing you might notice about the house is the space under the house. Between the columns holding it up is a space that's been decked out with games. Want to play suction cup darts against the wall of the little shed/garage where the elevator is? Or try to hit the shoddy piñata Rinku made from balloons and newspaper? There's also a little magnet fishing game in a kiddie pool, plus the classic(?) standby of Pin the Tail on the Human. She's even hauled out the TV so you can play off-brand Ring Fit -- for some reason it's called "Octagon Fitness Saga" and the controller's an octagon, but come on, you know what this is.

You can also start up your own games, if you've got the inclination -- just keep the truth or dare tame, the party's all ages after all.]

FOOD

[Supper is, of course, included -- Rinku just ordered in. There is a lot of pizza in here, from vegetable to the pepperoni mushroom Evangeline likes to Mecchan's favourite, shrimp and mayo, to one that just says "ALL" on the box and must have nine different toppings piled on there not counting the cheese. Whatever your favourite is, it's probably here.

Drinks are provided -- no alcohol, though -- and there's also a large cake with bright orange frosting and yellow icing flowers, and an assortment of fancy macarons at Mary's request. Sit around the supper table making conversation or just take your food around with you!]

ART

[There's an arts-and-crafts room in here! Paper, canvas, clay, and all kinds of art supplies are available, and guests are encouraged to play around and make whatever they want to. They can post their art around the house or even take it home with them if they want. To that end, there's also roll paper laid out on empty bits of floor, so you can do big group drawings too!

The walls are white, as opposed to the bright colours inside the rest of the house -- but they're not intended to stay that way. Drawing on the walls is accepted and encouraged! Leave your mark wherever you like.]

MUSIC

[Looks like Rinku doesn't just fold her DJ booth up into her Hammerspace Purse. It's set up in this music room, with a Silencer Orb you can activate to soundproof your auditory experiments. Rinku's also brought her collection of world percussion instruments in for the party, and there's a microphone you can use too if you need it. Find your song and set up karaoke, or try and compose something new!]

SOFT ROOM

[Cuddle rooms are all the rage in home improvement these days. With soft walls and floor, a big couch, and plushies, pillows, and blankets galore, you can snuggle or sleep in here if you want a break or, like one of the hosts, just get overcome by how much you love everyone you know.

There's a life-size plush lion in here. And nesoberi and fumo of all kinds won from the crane machine. You can also start a pillow fight if you want, just don't hit anybody who's sleeping.]

[Rinku can be found in here drawing as well... not that she is any good at drawing, but she's on the floor right now trying to contribute to one of the Big Group Art Projects. Those are probably cats she's drawing. Maybe.]

Meanwhile, Hina is trying to draw too. "How can a Zubat draw without hands or eyes?" you may ask, and the answer is "by biting the crayon, deciding it tastes bad so she shouldn't eat it, and scribbling before dropping it."]

It's so great to finally meet and chat with you! I'm Fajra.

[Though she wouldn't be surprised if Evangeline shared photos of her with Rinku.]

Cats, hmm? I could try to add something, but I admit I'm more prone to technical drawings or magic circles.

[She grabs a sandy-yellow crayon and gets to work, letting Rinku talk for a bit.]

[Rinku lights up. Her eyes sparkle, though, like Evangeline's, they've been doing that all day.]

Sure, that sounds fun! I mean, unless it summons something, that might be a problem. But whatever you like to draw! Hina-chan's trying too!

[Hina squeaks and picks up the crayon in her mouth again.]

I have a different idea. Specifically, a being from my home world associated with cats.

[The drawing is a little stiff, but as she makes progress, it'd be clear she was drawing a sphinx.]

I know you and Evangeline aren't related by blood, but your eyes certainly make me think of hers.

I kinda got stuck that way recently, but I like it! I think it was when something really good happened, because I've been working a lot on my shapeshifting. I was worried about Neechan before, and then she came back, so maybe that was when.

[She was definitely prone to sparkle eyes before, but they weren't permanent like they are now.]

Oh, I see! Well, I suppose it's not out of the question. You've thought of her as your sister so long, perhaps your shapeshifting abilities are responding to that.

I... also wanted to thank you, for being there for her. Especially when I couldn't be. Even if she wasn't ready to open up, the fact you were there helped, I'm sure.

I'm not really good at art... definitely not confident enough to draw on the walls.

[But she's got paper and crayons, and she's drawing a picture of what is clearly supposed to be Mary and less clearly... another girl? Not anyone who's been seen in Ellipsa.]

This wasn't what I ordered when I tried to get something from home, but it's a lot of fun anyway! My friend Muni-chan had a copy back home, and I played it a lot.

Her name's Laetitia - she's an Abnormality. I feel like she and Mary would be really good friends, if they met.

[She pauses to watch the drawing... and to take a marker away from Hina before she can bite it.]

There are a few! Laetitia's the most human-shaped one. Actually, my suit is from a different one, Child of the Galaxy. There are stronger suits available, but I like this one. It feels comforting.
