Quest Mingle: June-July
LOGS | NETWORK | OOC | MEMES | NAVIGATION
Questboard! This post is for playing!
• These quests are valid from start of June until end of July
• Characters don't need to be a member of the guild to do quests and anyone can do any segment's quest! The quests are just marked this way to show where the quests are taking place.
• City Location Details | Segment Location details
• Remember to keep distances (times are calculated as walking times) in mind when planning what quests to do when. You have two full months, so there's no rush!
• For some of the monsters, additional details can be found from the Beastiary.
• Rewards are for one completion of the Quest, but characters can do it multiple times to earn more money from them, as the problems do repeat.
• Please see the guild page for permanent quests.
IC Note
We are very concerned of the increase in danger in the Segments and hope that people take extra caution when going outside. If anyone finds clues about what might be causing all these things, please let any of the power holders know! The quest rewards have been raised to compensate for all the danger you need to face.
A full investigation is going on about the situation. We thank you for your continued support.

Bolstering the Defenses | Due to the abnormal amount of danger in the segments, we've decided to start strengthening city defenses. Watchtowers were built near the bridges, on both the segment and city sides. We're currently training natives to take on watch duties, but until we have enough personnel, we ask that you pair up with someone and sign up for guard duty at one of the towers. Any monsters coming too close should be dealt with and if the amount of monsters is too much for two - a warning signal set out into the skies for the other tower to see and spread the message. | Due to the High Risk quests, a lot of different regular monsters are on the move. The numbers they come in range from just a few to even twenty. The more there are of the same monster, the better they work together - but variety makes the groups more chaotic and more prone to fall apart. | 10 000 Moon Coins |
Sir, There's a Capybara in My Bath | Animal Shelter volunteers have done it yet again. This time the animals that escaped are ones we least expected to. The Zen Capybaras are always so calm and never really go anywhere. They're perfect for keeping other animals in check as their aura calms them down. Now we've heard reports of them appearing in public baths... and even people's private baths. They especially love onsens and can be seen with a mandarin on their head there. We will work on making them suitable baths here at the shelters, but meanwhile, can you help us find them? Be careful, since their aura might render people into a relaxed mess. | Zen Capybaras are like normal capybaras but come in various colors, usually in pastel but other variations exist too. They have an aura that will calm even the angriest creatures down and with regular people the effect is strong enough to make someone feel like their head is full of clouds. Scratching them under their chin will make them stop doing the aura thing, which they sometimes do without meaning to. | 900 Moon Coins, Capybara pet (if desired) |
We Never Planted This | An experiment between the Tower of Potions and the Botanical Garden has gone awry. They were trying to combine their abilities to create new possible guardian flowers to help with defenses. However, instead of fighting, all the flowers are running around tickling people. They continue to tickle people until they nearly pass out from laughing. We suppose that's one way to fight... but the problem is they do it to everyone. They will likely lose all ability to move and tickle after a while, but new ones will rise, as the potion was accidentally used as a regular fertilizer in various parts of the city. Never leave your experiments where they can be found I guess. At least when they can be find by summer workers. | The flowers can be any type and they grow up to be around 170cm/5.5feet in height. They're very weak to physical violence and magic, but are very sneaky and like pretending to be normal flowers before attacking their victims. | 2000 Moon Coins |

New Cod On The Block | The Unfrozen Lake has gotten some new species of monster fish lately. They keep eating all of the regular fish in the lake! This is a problem because it's a popular fishing spot, as it's close to the airship station. The hospital has lately seen many fishers return, telling how they were mauled by a fish they pulled up, too. It would be great if the invading species could be fished out - or otherwise removed - from the lake. | There are two types of monster fish: Icicle Piranhas that bite the moment they come up from the lake, usually targeting someone's nose or their ear (causing at least a nasty frostbite) and Octofish that are a mix of an octopus and a fish and they spew poisonous ink at the people fishing them up. The poison is very potent, but can be cured by an antidote made from the Octofish tentacles. | 2000 Moon Coins |
Now This is a Sir Price CW/TW: possession | There has been a report that a very ghost-like group of people has been walking around the Forest of Spirits. That's not the weird thing. The weird thing is that they all looked like the same guy. When a group of researchers when to take a closer look there were more of them, but this time they looked like different people: but there were multiples of the same person! It seems the rumors about 'I think Therefore I Am' was true after all. Please do something to stop people from accidentally creating clones of themselves - or from getting possessed. | Something found from the Underground library has come true: "I think, therefore I am. Never say this out loud near a group of ghosts or they will start thinking they're you and take your form, perhaps even your body. Spoken from true experience. If you see multiple ghosts going by the name of Sir Price, exorcise them for me, please." This means even otherworlders can have copies of themselves walking around. These ghosts are special and can be seen by anyone due to the phrase making them "feel real". The ideal solution is to exorcise the ghosts, but just stopping natives and your fellow power holders will help thin their numbers. | 1600 Moon Coins |
❗High Risk Quest❗ Where? Wolf! CW/TW: possible gore | Werewolves have started expanding their territory. While they used to remain in the Wolf's Blood Mountains, they have now started appearing on other areas in the eastern Winter Segment. Not only that, they've started to turn people into their kin, rather than kill them. They've been bold and attacking even areas near the city to get their prey. It's an all out war against them, and we need help! We need to drive them back to their mountain! Be careful not to get bitten and bring some silver with you. | Ferocious wolves that walk on two feet during the nights. Moon gives them power and they're almost invincible during the full moon - but they're not extremely weak during new moon, either. Their bite is poisonous and can turn someone into a werewolf if they survive the attack or the strength of the poison. Being scratched by a werewolf may also end up leaving a minor werewolf curse (partial wolf transformation during full moon, not necessarily any awesome powers). Best way to deal with a werewolf is to get them alone (usually travel in groups of 2-3) and using silver-covered weapons. They have regenerative powers that the metal stops for long enough to matter. | 20 000 Moon Coins |

Moon's Favor | Moon Bunnies are creatures that circle around the segments to bring the moon's blessings to all of them. They're originally from the Winter side, so whenever they reach the Summer they need to get help from people. So the people have set up places in the city to make different variations of nutritious and delicious cakes to give the bunnies. You can either help make the cakes or/and deliver them near the Spring Flower Yard (unlike last year when the 'buffet' was held at the Summer's flower yard) for the bunnies to find. You may even get a chance to feed and pet them yourself. The Moon Bunnies are also feeling very generous and giving anyone who gives them a cake a blessing: any item you want will get blessed with the moon's power and will light up the darkness when they wish it. | The Moon Bunnies float in the air as a means of travel and sometimes they sparkle like the moon. They cannot be adopted and if someone tries to take one back with them they will poof into moon dust and reappear somewhere else. The blessing can be received from multiple bunnies and put into multiple items that way. It also works in emergencies (like if the owner is knocked out) even if someone doesn't wish on it, so others may find the person. | 900 Moon Coins, Moon's Favor |
Thinking About the Immortality of the Crab | A species of monster crabs has been found again from the shores of the Prism Lake. For centuries people have hunted them because legends have said they possesses a gem hidden in one of its many barnacles that was assumed to be the secret to their immortality. However, they are extremely elusive and appear only on nights when moon is covered by clouds. Whenever they're on the surface, they cause a lot of damage to everything nearby - sometimes even further away, as they move faster than normal crabs do. We're really interested in getting the gems to study them. | Immortal Crabs are, as it says on the tin, immortal. They've lived on Ellipsa for longer than people. No one has seen them for three decades, but now they have made their grand entrance. The gem inside their barnacles are magical in nature, but don't grant immortality. Instead they make healing magic thrice stronger than normal. The crabs taste delicious, but don't otherwise do have any special effects. | 800 Moon Coins per Gem, a free crab dinner |
❗High Risk Quest❗ Hell's Coming Home with Me CW/TW: possible gore, being eaten alive | A big part of the Cherry Blossom Parks has started to move. The trees look like they might have evolved into living trees, but on closer look they're covered in slimes. Not just any slimes, but the Weapon Slimes that live in the parks. Something has made them possess the trees and made them starts marching towards the city. There's a long way for them to walk, but the sooner they're dealt with the better! They also have weapons attached to the trees, so they're armed, moving trees. | Weapon Slime are a type of slime that dangerous due to them absorbing weapons and making them a part of their body. They're very aggressive and don't like strangers coming near them. Several of them have combined each other to be big enough to absorb trees to use them as ways to attack people. The slime covered trees act very much like live giants, acting with one mind. Like a lot of regular slime, they're weak to fire, but they know ways to shield themselves with items found in the environment - or captured people. Those captured inside a slime have two hours before they start dissolving inside. | 20 000 Moon Coins |

Aserejé ja de je | The Dancing Skeletons have made it to the Summer Segment on their "tour". This time the skeletons they've dragged into their dancing are Hula Skeletons. Mostly called that because they like to dress up in different straw skirts, flowers crowns their heads and leis around their necks. As per usual these skeletons have no sense of personal space or consent, so anyone who happens to come close enough to them is going to be bothered. Otherwise they seem to be pretty harmless this time, other than not knowing limit to how long someone can dance that is. Some people might need rescuing. | Hula Skeletons are the friendliest sort of skeletons who enjoy dressing up and looking nice. They can be easily distracted by showing them different clothes or even make up. The Dancing Skeletons will be annoyed, but won't cause a scene and instead continue dancing. | 1000 Moon Coins |
Dandelion Dreams Coming True | There's a species of lions that look very much like dandelions. They're usually hard to find, as they blend into the sceneries in the Spring Segment. However, strong gusts of wind have brought a pack of them into the Summer Segment. The environment here is dangerous for this species, so we wish to see them go back to the their original habitat. However... we don't have the courage to approach lions. Even if they look like dandelions they're still predators. | Grandelions are large lions that look like dandelions. They mate with whoever, as the gender doesn't matter. The flowers on their tails turn into seeds and produce new lion cubs when they get planted on the ground. Newborn lion cubs have a bud instead of a flower on the tip of their tails. Despite being large, they're very light and often get carried to places by strong gusts of wind. | 1600 Moon Coins |
❗High Risk Quest❗ Bless the Cursed Rain | It's finally raining in the Summer Segment, but that's where the good news end. Dark Albatrosses have appeared in the skies, and they're affecting the rain. Any place they fly in the rain gets mixed with dark energy that drops on plant-life, the soil and creatures alike, making them corrupted. Plants and soil die, creatures turn into abominations and attack people. The Dark Albatrosses need to be dealt with as soon as possible - especially before they fly over the areas with Wyverns and make them even stronger. | Dark Albatrosses are giant birds, with wingspan over 4 metres/13.12 feet. They're all black in color and have horrifying red eyes and their talons are sharp as knives. They're coated in dark energy, making them harder to fight than most creatures and they prefer to stay high up in the air. | 20 000 Moon Coins |

Autumn Cleaning | Leech like plants have started destroying the Autumn Airship Station. We've made attempts to chase them away, but more keep coming back. It's very likely that there's a nest (or several) of them somewhere nearby, but we're not brave enough to go check. We're pretty sure the only way the bypassed the barrier is because they're mostly plants. | Leech Vines are plants part of a monster body called a Leech Plant. The monsters themselves aren't able to pass the barriers, but they can send their tendril like vines to eat the material the station is made of. Finding the main body and destroying it will help the problem, but be careful of the vines as they might try to suck anything they can find - even people's blood. | 1400 Moon Coins |
You Use a Repel | It's a known fact that the Lake of Healing gives someone energy when they dip into it, but also attracts a variety of monsters. Well, we have developed a cure for that. It's still in an experimental phase, so we're looking for volunteers who would bathe in the lake and then spray themselves with the spray we developed. It should negate the effect, making monsters ignore you... but it might be a good idea to keep a weapon nearby if it doesn't work! | Good news! The spray works. None of the monsters approach the person who took a dip in the lake. However, the next morning, after sleeping for at least a few hours, they will find every harmless, fuzzy creature within three mile radius has made their way to them and are either snuggling or sleeping next to them. The spray wears off during the course of day or with a nice, long shower. | 900 Moon Coins, Pets(?) |
❗High Risk Quest❗ Rulers of the Skies CW/TW: electrocution, possession | The storms in the Autumn Segment have taken a different form than usual. The clouds above themselves have become sentient, it feels like and they're making precise shots with their lightning bolts at anyone there. Occasionally they even change shape and become more menacing, sucking trees, people and creatures into the cloud with winds. They're either never seen again or return as creatures possessed by lightning that cause havoc all around. We've had to capture and lock away some natives possessed that tried to get into the city to cause havoc there. We're looking for a cure, but something needs to be done to these clouds before things get out of control. | Storm Conquerors are clouds that have traveled through the Darkness and have become sentient creatures of chaos. Whenever one breaks apart they're quickly reformed, but the more pieces it's torn into the longer the reforming takes. Those possessed by lightning will return to normal by having the electricity sucked out of their bodies with different devices. | 20 000 Moon Coins |

Spicy Gacha | A new restaurant has opened as a rival to the infamous Gacha Restaurant. The Spicy Gacha Diner offers similar services, but all the food has a twist: they all have an added effect. Most of them are harmless, (like creating bunny ears on someone's head or changing their voice into a different one) but some of them can cause sexy effects (like a heat like state or a desire to go do some sexy pole dancing) which is why the restaurant is only accepting customers that are over 16-years-old. Come test their restaurant and get paid for it! | The effects range from very silly ones to very sexy ones, but all of them are very harmless and meant to have fun. The food is always delicious and can be either savory or sweet. The best thing? Everything costs the same, no matter what you order. | Free Gacha Meal, 500 Moon Coins |

Dirty Fighting CW/TW: murder | Underground fighting rings are nothing new, but I have something that's new and exciting. I'm hosting a fighting ring where I've invited rival gangs to take part in. I want them gone. Break all their bones, maul their faces - kill them. Make it look like it's part of the fight to not rise anyone suspicions. If you manage to kill someone by "accidentally punching too hard", you will get the highest reward. | This quest is all about violence. However, there may be cops in disguise in the audience so it's possible to get your character into huge problems, should you so wish. Though if it looks like an accident, maybe they won't get a long sentence. Feel free to also have been "invited" by this mysterious someone to be a fighter, especially if your character has been involved with dealing with gangs before. | 10000 Moon Coins |
It's For Your Own Good | We have plenty of debts to collect, but not enough collectors for the job. At least not collectors intimidating enough. We wish to have the aid of power holders so they can use their powers to get a point across: that paying the money is for their own good. And if they don't listen, you're free to break some bones to give them reminders of what happens if they don't come up with the money. | Debts are collected from various different kinds of people from different districts and then brought to a specific drop point to get a reward. Those who try to steal the debt money will get another debt collector after them. | 2000 Moon Coins per 2 debts collected |
Jean Kirstein 🔥Attack on Titan (Empatheias & Avalon CRAU)
(Where? Wolf! - quest, CW/TW: Gore, murder, violence, etc)
A
The thought of seeking out werewolves had crossed Jean's mind several times, but it was always followed with a reminder that it would man going to their territory. It wouldn't end well, with so many werewolves in a place familiar to them. So the fact they were moving out of them was really a fortunate turn of events, all things considered.
Well, fortunate for his mental health, bad for everything else, he supposed. But they'd be able to deal with the problem to keep the natives and the city safe.
Jean has all of his weapons with him in his hammerspace purse, but his choice is using his ODM gear for this. The blades he's holding are shining in silver, under the moonlight. Sort of poetic, if he cared for that.
"Ready?" He asks the partner(s) he has with him for this quest.
B
In the midst of the battle, it's easy to see Jean has definitely improved his skills over th year he's been training with Mikasa and Levi. Luckily, the environment chosen is good for ODM gear and he can use the surroundings easily.
Occasionally he uses fire to blind a werewolf so he can get close easier. Sometimes he uses the hooks on his gear to attach himself to a werewolf's hide to cross the distance and slash the creature while flying past.
Normally, Jean's not one for murder, but it's different with monsters. And especially these monsters.
C
After there are no werewolves around and they're at a safe distance, Jean flops onto the soft snow, covered in blood (not his, at least not mostly), exhausted from all the fighting.
"Give me a moment..." he says. He'd get up soon enough and they could go back, but he just needed a rest.
And apparently a laugh? As he's laughing and crying at the same time. The relief he feels at this moment... it's such a cathartic feeling.
OOC: CR can also include people who took his offer for werewolf-proofing weapons! Or we can just handwave first meetings. You can always reach out for me in DMs or the unofficial Discord.
we start at A and see where we end up-
Levi acknowledges Jean probably needs to do this himself, reclaim the power that had been taken from him last time he's faced them. He's willing to support him in that, but he's not willing to let him go alone, even though Levi is going through some things of his own at the moment. But him sitting at home and wallowing isn't going to bring Hange back, and it might lose someone else instead. It's not that he doesn't trust Jean; he's learned a lot. But it just doesn't feel like something anyone should face on their lonesome.
So there he is, once again strapped into his gear, his blades now covered in silver thanks to Jean's efforts. There's large trees and some rocky cliffs around -- decent environment for their gear, and a decent place to turn into a mass grave for pests.
"Ready when you are," he answers evenly, carrying himself about the same as he always does although the dark circles under his eyes look a touch deeper. Jean gets to take the lead this time; Levi is here to watch his back and help, but the journey is ultimately his own.

Seeing Jean and others from his world zip around with their gear makes him envious as always, but ultimately, it's fine. If the werewolves think he's easy pickings on the ground, he'll teach them a lesson! Or so he thought, until the first enemy that was about to challenge him takes a hook to the neck and get sliced by a shadow sweeping in the next moment. He huffs in aggravation.]

But... he's promised, and maybe Jean can spy his "ghosts"; trees and flora crystalled white, 10 holes stabbed from cleats of boots; his prints in snow.
We're here. You're not on your own... We're here.
The hook comes next, boy trotting after to chase its source, his skin like frost.]

You could leave a few wolves for us, if you'd like...

All Eren can do while they fight is keep up. He doesn't bother with the titan thing for this. They need silver to kill werewolves anyway, and for once this isn't really about him. He'll use that form if he needs to, if they get into trouble, if he has to keep Jean safe.
Jean can take care of himself, though. Eren might even admit that's pretty much always been true.
Afterwards, he watches Jean collapse onto the snow. He lets himself do the same, both of them lying there like bloody snow angels staring up at the sky. Eren doesn't laugh or cry, as usual.
"Better?" he asks.

Still, he's uneasy. As they travel he takes Jean's lead, following close behind him and saying little, understanding what drives the man and yet questioning if it is really going to make him feel any better in the end. It had never made E'kayan feel better, that's for sure.
"Mm," he answers when questioned, nodding a little as he unhooks his grimoire from his belt. "Are you sure about this, Jean?"

Toshirou Hijikata | Gintama (+ Prismatica & Isle of Avalon CRAU) | Summer
[Whatever has the monsters in the Segments on the move, it concerns Hijikata. He doesn't think twice before signing up for watchtower duty, even asking his boss to get a significant chunk if of his police work hours reallocated to it - this, after all, is the most important service they can render to the citizens right now.
As he and his fellow watchman (or -woman) are passing the time, be it by talking about the latest ongoings, discussing magic techniques, or getting carried away chatting about unrelated matters, they eventually notice a commotion in the adjacent Segment, and immediately, Hijikata is alert.]
Let me go scout from the air. Ideally we can handle it without having to alert the other towers.
[(OOC: Feel free to choose or RNG what Segment they're at and/or what enemies they're dealing with, otherwise I'll take care of it!)]
2) Sir, There's a Capybara in My Bath (CW: Nudity)
[Usually, Hijikata doesn't bother with the regularly recurring animal shelter quests. Finding lost pets is a job for civilians; he has bigger (and more dangerous) fish to fry! This time around, however, he doesn't really get a say in the matter, because one of the escaped animals finds him.
He recently rediscovered a House Expansion spell he'd picked up at Riki's shop well over a year ago and forgotten about, so he put it to use by creating a little private onsen under his and Shoto's home... and today, a capybara walked in while he was bathing. Naturally, he blew a fuse right away, bitching at it to get itself back to whichever zoo it escaped from - only to be hit by a wave of relaxation emanating from the oddly baby blue animal.
Now, there are few people who'd necessarily visit Hijikata's personal bath, but seeing him sitting in the hot water all quiet and unfazed by the big rodent next to him alarmed his pokémon. If their trainer isn't getting pissed over the obvious intruder, something is clearly wrong with him! As such, passersby in Sunwaning may find themselves accosted by a large porcine Emboar or an ominously silent sword-like Honedge. Neither can talk, but they'll try to communicate their urgency and nudge the person along to their home - and whoever follows them downstairs will find man and capybara getting steamed in a peaceful atmosphere. Hijikata looks up with an expression so mild, it might be eerie to anyone who knows them.]
Oh, I didn't know you'd be visiting.
[
Unless you're Shoto, then you live here.]3) Now This is a Sir Price
[Hijikata is scared of ghosts. He doesn't like to admit it, all the less after his accomplishments as a death mage on Avalon, but without the ability to see them anymore, old apprehensions and fears have gradually crept back in. Regardless, when he hears of the doppelganger situation, he doesn't want to sit idle! As he and his questmate - ideally a winter power holder, or someone who has experience dealing with ghosts from elsewhere - enter the Forest of Spirits, his gloves start emitting an eerie glow.]
Huh... either these ghosts count as undead, or there are other creatures afoot here. Let's be watchful.
[He wouldn't have come here without a backup plan - that's where his companion comes in -, but if the ghosts' belief in their own "realness" is strong enough to make them more or less corporeal, his Gloves of the Undead may just work here! Otherwise, maybe his Honedge, silently hovering in the air beside him, might come in handy... he may still have trouble reading its moods, but it is supposed to be a ghost pokémon!]
4) Where? Wolf!
[It's time to avenge Jean!! Whether the young swordsmith, long back from the dead but still bearing the scars of the fateful expedition of last year, has that many friends (which is quite probable; he is a good guy!) or there are enough otherworlders with their own grudges against the werewolves, it's a veritable war zone in the Winter Segment, with both ambushes and open clashes occurring between both sides.
Whether Hijikata set out with his quest partner from the get-go or joined forces with them in the snow (possibly after getting separated from their original groups), he brought all his gear and spells with him, from his red dragon ring for added hit damage to his enhanced and further upgraded sword - not his usual Muramasha, but Mayonakataiyou, which Jean forged for him as a Christmas present (no worries, he's not going to make anyone memorise its name). There's no time for rest - two werewolves are coming for them!]
I take the right one, you the left one! Don't let it draw blood!
[(OOC: Please specify if you'd like weredog Hijikata for that extra feral flavour - in that case, they'll be venturing out roughly during June or July 20th-23rd as that's the full moon cycles!)]
5) Moon's Favor
[Given his usual dismissive attitude towards "civilian" quests, it may be surprising to find Hijikata at the Spring Segment's flower yard to help hand out cakes to the moon bunnies, but he seems pretty focused and enthusiastic... even if he's adding mayonnaise instead of cream to an otherwise finished cake (would either be good for rabbits, really?).]
Do you already know what you want to get blessed?
[He seems positively excited!]
6) Hell's Coming Home with Me
[So it's come to this... the Cherry Blossom Park is marching against Nightwake City, and it's honestly terrifying to see an entire forest (which, if the recently uncovered information from the Magical Library of Knowledge is to be believed, used to be a graveyard) on the move. Hijikata is ready to fight - not on the ground, preferably, but on the back of his winged bull. The heavy mount is wearing its custom armour and seems calm enough, given the circumstances.]
So, to recapitulate, I'll make it rain fire from above until I either run out of mana and mana refill potions, or Shirobeko can't keep flying. Or will you need me on the ground?
7) Aserejé ja de je
[How many times does he need to teach the skeletons this lesson about noise pollution?! This time, be brought both his Emboar and his Honedge along to mix the obnoxious bone rattlers up - and his questmate, of course (unless instead there's someone he needs to rescue from being forced to dance!).]
I can't believe the audacity of these corpses..! Seriously, no respect for the police! Or for the living? Ah, same difference!
8) Bless the Cursed Rain
[The disasters just aren't stopping, with the latest addition being darkness-addled rain falling in the Summer Segment and corrupting everything it hits. Hijikata, who almost got killed by a pair of wyverns last year, does not want to know what it'd be like if they turned even more monstrous, so the case is clear: It's time to go albatross hunting! Given the enormous size of the black birds, along with their constant high altitude, he'll once again rely on his winged mount. He strokes the bull's neck as he and his questmate prepare for battle.]
Remember, Shirobeko, always stay above the clouds. We need to strike them from under the sun.
[Strike them how, though? He's a swordsman! But then again, he's got a ribbon stick in his hand, so it looks like he's sorted out... what about his (non-bovine) partner, though?]
9) Autumn Cleaning
[Hearing that monsters actually managed to somehow breach the barrier around the Autumn Segment's airship station is alarming. Everything seems to be going south lately, doesn't it? But complaining won't take care of the problem, so Hijikata teleports onsite to inspect the damage, and sure enough the vermin is right at hand. He stares at the strange, slowly moving things that look like oversized leeches before turning to his questmate (whether they came with him or happened to be there already).]
I don't know how they got in here, but I don't see the harm in trying some brute force for a start. Best cover your face; there's no telling if they won't emit poison or god-knows-what.
10) Rulers of the Skies
[Sentient clouds targeting people with lightning attacks... that sounds like a job for Hijikata. After all, he's lightning-resistant thanks to an amulet he got from Reiner! Out in the wilderness, he surveys the overcast sky along with his quest partner, his trusty bull once again at his side.]
How are we supposed to go about this? My best idea is engulfing them in fire - that should shrink them down, shouldn't it?
11) Dirty Fighting
[An underground fighting ring is bound to spring up in any big city sooner or later, isn't it? Hijikata has some unpleasant memories of the one he helped put an end to in Edo, and of how much trouble his Commander got into over that, given that some very important people turned out to have been behind it. I better not find Michael or someone else we're supposed to be able to rely on involved in this, or else..!
For now, he'll just watch, ostensibly a member of an audience excited by the prospect of violence (but how could it possibly excite him if he's not taking part and it's not a
semi-hourable fight?)... however he'll pay close attention to what happens in the ring. Will someone deliberately aim to maim or murder? (Or does he maybe have an ally mixed in with the fighters, and they have a plan ready to unfold?)12) It's For Your Own Good
[Extortion, another crime that plagues big cities... again, Nightwake is no exception. Luckily, the police, in this case Hijikata, is watchful! Right now, he's observing an unsavoury interaction - and just as the extortioner is about to get physical (or at least threatening it), he steps in to snatch their wrist.]
I wouldn't do that if I were you. I wouldn't make a wrong move at all.
[Who are you, though? The criminal, or the victim?]
[(OOC: If you'd like to plot things out, please hit up my plotting post!)]

[She can't resist offering the Honedge a treat and smiling. Oh, right! Ghost patrol. Rinku starts looking around and points.]

Frieda Reiss | Attack on Titan | Spring
[It feels a little like a farce to Frieda that she, whose primary duty back home would have been to watch the end of her nation without resistance, volunteered to guard Nightwake City. Even as she stands on the watchtower, doubts are gnawing at her. Why am I doing this? To protect the people? Don't I just want the barrier to hold so I can keep living a comfortable life..?
On some level, she deeply feels that the natives, powerless as they are, deserve protection from the monsters, some of which are outright tormentors, but there's always that intrusive voice questioning whether they really are worthy of survival. What did their ancestors do to this world, really? Isn't it all their fault? Wasn't it them who were so power-hungry and greedy that they toppled the natural balance?
Maybe she notices the movement out there by herself, maybe her companion has to alert her to it - either way, suddenly the threat isn't hypothetical anymore but all too tangible, and her throat feels dry with anxiety.]
Can you tell what creatures they are?
[She'll have to pull her weight, now. (OOC: Feel free to choose or RNG what Segment they're at and/or what enemies they're dealing with, otherwise I'll take care of it!)]
2) We Never Planted This
[Human-sized flowers that tickle people... well, that certainly sounds odd, but more manageable than the dangers of the Segments! Or so Frieda thought, until she was all but ambushed by a trio of plants while looking for them in a blooming segment of the park. Mindful of the Botanical Garden likely wanting their specimens back unharmed, she avoids damaging them... and that turns out to be a big mistake, because those flowers go all in.
She didn't think she was particularly ticklish, but the soft leaves are strangely effective, and before she knows it, she's laughing so hard her sides hurt, cutting quite the pathetic picture to anyone stumbling across the scene.]
Ah... h-helpffff--
3) New Cod On The Block
[The Unfrozen Lake is fairly accessible, which means that the quest seemed accessible too... but Frieda quickly learns that the monster fish truly aren't to be underestimated. Despite keeping a respectful distance from where she cast her bait (with the tiniest hook available... she's a bleeding heart when she has the luxury to be kind and was hoping to bring the fish to the Research Centre alive and unharmed), the octofish she pulled up scurried across the ice in a blink to grab her.
In her thick white winter gear, at least the poison ink it sprayed out is unlikely to affect her too badly, but the creature is trying to drag her towards the hole in the ice! She valiantly struggles, kicking and even cutting it with her wind magic (her self-preservation instinct did improve!), but it's a little late for that as she can't hold on to anything.]
Let go!! Really, don't make me--!
4) Where? Wolf!
[The conflict with the werewolves is another very difficult one for Frieda to emotionally tackle. She knows that those beastmen are sapient... so what if it's a case like that of the sirens, who were apparently unfairly scapegoated for the tensions in the Great Ocean Lake? With no relations between Nightwake City and Wolf's Blood Mountain, how can they fully understand what's driving the werewolves? If they went to wipe them out, only to later learn that they had good reason for acting the way they did, wouldn't it be terrible?
But at the same time, she knows on some level that negotiation attempts would be pointless. After all, she surely isn't the first one who thought of that, and she's certain that if she tried to approach a werewolf amicably, she'd get killed or turned in response. What, then, remains to do but fight? It's painful how things will always end up like this, no matter in what world.
As she and her questmate prepare to enter the werewolves' territory, they need to confirm what approach they want to take - especially Frieda wants to explain herself once more, given that she won't be able to communicate easily once she assumes her titan form.]
I should be able to chase them off on my own, or even fling them far away... given what I heard about their healing powers, they should survive that, but it ought to keep them away, right?
[She hesitates before suggesting the alternative:]
Or we could capture them. However, I won't be able to maintain my titan form for longer than maybe an hour - we'll need to have them incapacitated by then.
[Of course, she explained her nature as a titan shifter to her questmate beforehand, unless they're one of the few people who already knew. (OOC: If her companion is an Eldian but she wasn't aware... surprise!! But in the few cases where she knows that someone is an Eldian, but they don't know about her nature, disregard the above dialogue; let's hash out something else!)]
5) Thinking About the Immortality of the Crab
[Frieda, whose life span is already much shorter than an average human's, doesn't care for immortality. That said, this quest should be another opportunity for her to put her titan strength on trial! As large as the giant crabs are, in her titan form she ought to be able to hold them in place easily enough, enabling her questmate to check for the rumoured gem. In the Spring Segment, the night air is cool, but not chilling, as she and her companion wait near the Prism Lake's shore.]
I wonder if I should use some light magic to lure them out..? Oh! I think there's one surfacing!
[(OOC: The same as in the above quest applies - she'll have told anyone she hasn't identified as an unaware Eldian about her titan shifter ability - unless her questmate proposed an alternative plan of tackling the crabs!)]
6) Hell's Coming Home with Me
[Being attacked by an entire forest is an unreal experience. Unlike any other enemy so far, the slime-covered cherry trees are tall - and yet, on average they're still only half as tall as the Founding Titan. Trees aren't saprient in the same way as animals and humans are, and neither are slimes, right..? She closes her eyes and exhales, trying to gather her resolve.]
Once I'm in my titan form, I'll see what works best - tearing the slimes off or, if that doesn't turn the trees back to normal, breaking the latter. Or should I focus on giving you cover?
[She still isn't a combatant! She'll always defer to the experience of others (and yes, she will simply assume that anyone else has more fighting experience than she does).]
7) Aserejé ja de je
[These skeletons again..! After they ignored her admonishments (and failed incantation attempts) the last time, Frieda is a bit huffy to hear of them continuing their tour. With her questmate at her side, she frowns as they observe the party from behind their cover. If the person already knows about her titan, she'll mutter:]
I wonder if I should just turn into my titan and kick them apart... or is that too mean?
[If they're unaware, though, she won't drop that bomb over an enemy that can likely be handled with more "conventional" means, and instead ask:]
How should we go about stopping them?
8) Dandelion Dreams Coming True
[Ellipsa truly is home to the strangest creatures. What is the best way to transport a pride of grandelions across the Segment border? If nothing else, Frieda and her quest partner have already found them! ]
Should we lure them..? It's too far to go all the way like that, isn't it?
[In her titan form, she could carry them in her hands, but she can't solve every problem with her titan! Or can she?]
9) Autumn Cleaning
[For monsters, however small, to have gotten inside the airship station's barrier is definitely worrisome... and they already look persistent! This time, it doesn't seems like a job for the Founding Titan - while the creatures aren't exactly tiny, there are too many of them for her to collect them with precision, and her titan might damage the station's structure further.]
There are so many of them! Maybe smoke would drive them away?
[Of course, they'd need to be careful with fire, after all they don't want to burn down the building.]
10) You Use a Repel
[After several challenging combat-intensive quests, Frieda is grateful for a more peaceful quest. Thanks to the nearby teleport spot, the Lake of Healing is very accessible, too! She smiles at her questmate as they make their way to the location among the golden-crowned trees.]
Have you been there before? The lake is really beautiful. If only the monsters didn't think so, too... but that's what we're here for!
[(OOC: If you'd like to plot things out, please hit up my plotting post!)]

Ruby Rose | RWBY (Prismatica and Voidtrekkers CRAU) | Spring
Ruby figured that her skills would be perfect for the protection of the cities and the segments into other protectors get to join in. So, you might find Ruby at one of the watchtowers, keeping an eye on everything.
“Oh, hey! Come to join me?”
Where? Wolf! (CW: Gore)
New Moon:
Ruby figured it would be the perfect time to attack the invading werewolves wanting to expand their territories. Oh, no, not today. Confronting a small group of them, she’ll make her presence known with a razor wind slash, injuring the werewolves.
“You better get out of here now or that’s just the start!”
Full Moon
They were bold in their act, attacking when their power was at their peak. Unfortunately for them, someone just remembered they could take advantage of such a thing.
A streak of red would move to slam into one of the wolves, revealing it to be a werewolf in Ruby’s clothes. She totally forgot this was a thing and it seemed the criminal cartel’s attempt to transform people turned out to be a boon for her.
“Get out! Now! Or I’ll tear you apart!” Ruby snarled.
Hell’s Coming Home With Me (CW: Gore, possible eaten alive?)
“Woah! What are these things?!”
Ruby hadn’t seen Weapon Slimes before, so the sight of large slimes with various weapons and trees stuck to it was a surprise, especially as it tried to attack her.
“These are nuts! How do we get close?”

Where? Wolf! (CW: Gore) Full Moon
"I'm not leaving you alone with these things!" He snarled back. He had to be careful now. Ruby was just as likely to attack him as them! Maybe they could use this to their advantage though! MK had a plan as he sharpened the silver on the end of his staff into a blade and sliced through another wolf.
"You couldn't catch me anyway!" He taunted his battle partner. Maybe she would tear through more of them to try and catch him? It was worth a try.

Aimoto Rinku | D4DJ (Dig Delight Direct Drive DJ)
[Rinku, in her armour and holding a sword made of fire, is standing guard at one of the bridges in Winter. She hums and looks out, then suddenly points with her sword.]
Oh, there's some! Come on, we can take those guys!
["Those guys" being a shiver of snow sharks rising up and a couple of frost giants approaching in the distance. Rinku still runs out and, as they start approaching her, breathes fire in an arc in the snow, starting to create a moat to keep the sharks out. She gestures for you to come help fight.]
[2) New Cod on the Block]
[Rinku's in need of some cash, so she's all for trying new quests! But, uh... remember that first fishing mission last year?
Yeah, Rinku's standing in front of an ice fishing hole, but all she's pulling up are boots and tin cans. She slumps a little.]
Aww, again? Why aren't they coming to me?
[3) Moon's Favour]
[Rinku's in the kitchen for the baking project, trying to churn out as many moon cakes as she can. Even Mecchan is helping, if you call "kneading a tiny ball of dough at the side and contemplating eating it" help.]
Hmm... Do you think if we stamped something new and exciting on it, the bunnies would notice more?
[4) Aserejé ja de je]
[Rinku... doesn't really seem bothered, actually? She dances along with the skeletons, humming and playing music from her phone.]
This is fun! C'mon, everyone, you should dance too! Go, go, let's go!
[The skeletons seem to be going for you, and she sure isn't stopping them...]
[5) Dandelion Dreams Coming True]
[If people don't want to approach lions... well, what if a lion did it? So Rinku has turned into a lioness with a bright orange marking on her side, and is happily approaching the planty pride.]
Hiii! You guys should go someplace else, it's really dangerous here 'cause it's so hot and you're gonna wilt.
[They just look... confused? Confused and unhappy. Intervene?]

MK - Lego Monkie Kid
((CW: touch aversion, possible heavy topic discussion.))
MK signed up for a few shifts up in the watchtowers. He made sure to sign up for the Blossomcrown towers specifically, on the bridge and city sides. It was an easy enough job and with only two people, it should be doable. The tower was big enough that they wouldn't be too close to him. Good practice for his growing need for boundaries. He was pretty sure anyone paired with him would likely understand.
He looked down from their post and out at the horizon. He broke out his pair of binoculars just in case. No sign of any monsters yet this watch. That was nice.
"Kinda funny that they're paying us so much when we might not actually do anything up here, huh?" He asked his partner.
---
Sir, There's a Capybara in my Bath
((((CW: Nudity))
Capybaras had escaped from the shelter. MK swore those guys needed to find a way to build stuff before the animals needed it. Seemed to be a big trend with them lately. The seals and now this. Still, MK was out and about to try and find these little guys and get them back safe and sound. Which was what led him to the bathhouses. He might as well check in the baths but the only way to really get in was to be a customer.
MK sat in the warm waters of the bath and felt his head fogging up a little. It was hard to think but not in any bad kinda way. He just wanted to relax in the waters of the bath. He leaned against the wall and hummed to himself, his body relaxing so easily, and he smiled.
"Man...do they put something in the water or is this just super nice?" MK asked. A bright blue and orange capybara surfaced not far from MK but he didn't notice. He was way to relaxed.
---
Moon's Favor
Rabbits had quickly shot up on MK's favorite animals list. Sure, they weren't number one. That was staying with monkeys. The monkeys would never be dethroned. But rabbits broke into the top five easily. Feeding flying rabbits yummy cake? How could he pass that up. MK sat by a pile of cakes and waited for the rabbits to float by. He stood up and held out the cake for the rabbits to nibble on. He chuckled as their little whispers tickled his hands.
"These guys are just too cute. And I'm gonna get glowing stuff out of it. How neat is this?"

Amy Rose | Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) | Spring
[Amy let out a small sigh, relaxing in the baths. It had been a crazy month, what with the library and the preparations in the Winter Segment. Thus, she decided it would be a perfect time to relax... only to find out the baths she was going to take were joined by a couple of Capybara.]
Oh, this is new! Can I join you?
[They seemed unconcerned, letting Amy slip into the baths without a worry. With their aura hovering around, her worries and cares disappeared into nothing, just her, the baths and her companions.
If you wanna join her, or are in search of the other Capybara, you'll find her here.]
Heeeey~! Wanna join me?
We Never Planted This!
[Tickling plants? Really? Sure, it sounded farfetched, but Amy wasn't one to let rumors get the better of her. Thus, she would investigate what these weird plants were about. Finding a group of flowers, she'll quickly smash one that looked like it was getting ready to rise.]
Ah-ha! Thought you could get me, huh? I'm too smart for you!
[Amy felt proud of herself before she realized there was a shadow growing behind her.]
Uh-oh...
[To her shock, the flowers behind her would attack, vines and leaves tickling her back and arms]
AHHHHH! NOOOOO! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Autumn Cleaning
Ugh, really? You guys are just lazy!
[Amy groaned as she smashed another Leech Vine with her hammer. There were a lot of them, but she was more annoyed that the people who asked for this were too scared to look. Of course, this also drew her to the Darkness on the other end.]
Oh, no, not getting me to cross it.

Autumn Cleaning
Aqua | Kingdom Hearts | Autumn
Aqua wandered on the watchtower over the Spring Segment. She’s used to watching over things and to protect people. Hopefully, this’ll help with things in the future.
However, it’s very lonely, Aqua letting out a small sigh.
“Haa… I wish I asked someone to join me.”
Hell’s Coming Home With Me (CW: Possible Gore, possible eating people alive.)
“Everyone get out of here! It’s too dangerous!”
Aqua couldn’t believe there were people watching these Weapon Slimes even as it was charging at them. She had to protect these people, charging at the creature and leaping at one person being pulled in.
“I got you! Don’t worry!” She called out, grabbing one of the tree branches and pulling the person out.

Defenses
[The voice seemingly comes from nowhere, Aqua still being alone on the watchtower. However, the speaker shows herself, materializing in a burst of golden sparks.]
As powerful as my attack is, it is when I am acting defensively that I truly shine.

Sir, There's a Capybara in My Bath
Oh, Eren. It's not really a problem. It's just a capybara.

Giulia Marcovaldo | Disney's Luca
[Giulia has never seen a capybara in person before! Only in books! So this is pretty exciting to get to see one up close. Although she isn't really sure what to actually do with it once she finds one. I mean... can you catch one? How? Where does she even put it once she does?]
What do you think it eats? We could lure it somewhere with food maybe?
Moon's Favor:
I can bake cakes, nessun problema!
[She hasn't ever actually baked a cake before. Her mother has baked them before and she's watched though. How hard could it be?]
I mean... there are recipes for it right? You just follow the recipe?
Capybara
I think food's a good idea, kid. Snacks are a good way to get animals to move. As for what it eats...we could always give it a few options.
[ He pulls a small sketchpad and a pencil from his pocket, which might seem strange to anyone who doesn't know him. ]
What do you think we should try first?

Shadow the Hedgehog | Sonic Prime
Shadow wasn't afraid of a little water or suddenly violent fish. He took a boat out onto the Unfrozen Lake with the intent of seeing what was causing all these problems for the local fishermen. It was much easier to go out with a partner though. Best to have backup in case something happened. As they sailed out toward the middle of the lake, Shadow turned to his current questing partner.
"The water isn't a problem for me. I can lure out the enemy using my airshoes. Then we take care of them together. The research center may want samples so catching some alive would be helpful. You ready to begin?"

2. Rulers of the Skies
(( CW: Possession))
Trying to battle sentient clouds was not easy. Even with Winter abilities to control and manipulate water and the Fairy Queen tattoo with electricity manipulation, Shadow was not having an easy time of it. The cloud sucked him up into itself during his attempt to fight it alone. It wouldn't be until someone challenged the same cloud that a black and red hedgehog would come flying out with a fast attack aimed at the other outsider.
Electricity surged over his body and his eyes glowed with a shining hue. He was lightning possessed. He surged forward, throwing lightning at everything and everyone around him. Time to stop a rampaging hedgehog and an evil cloud.
Good luck!
1. New Cod on the Block
"I have my anti-grav shoes, no prob."
Sonic leans over the boat, sticking a hand into the water and flicking it a bit.
"Who the heck are you?" This is mondo weird man.

Paulo | Bittersweet Candy Bowl
The way the quest board made it look, this was supposed to be easy. Seriously! Tickle flowers? Like what could they do? Paulo had fire powers. This was going to be a walk in the park. Literally and figuratively. That's what Paulo had thought when he went walking in the park, trying to hunt down these living flowers. He found one and a quick fireball from his finger solved that problem. Except it was a decoy. He'd fallen right into their trap!
Paulo was on the ground, laughing loudly and kicking his legs as the flowers tickled him all over. He was pinned down by them and he couldn't breathe!
"HHAHAAHAHAHAHA! S-Stop! Can't! Breathe! Heeeeeehahahahahahalp!"
---
2. Hell's Coming Home with Me
(( CW: gore, being eaten alive))
Living trees and slimes. Trees burn and Paulo had fire powers. He thought this would be easy. Sure, it was marked as dangerous. And yeah the last time he went on one of these he ended up with parasites in his body. No one ever said that Paulo was smart. He went to the park where these slime trees were supposed to be. Only to find they were a lot more horrifying than he thought! One was massive and had a couple park benches, rakes, a sword, and people in it! Paulo tried to throw fireballs but the damn thing started to move the benches and people to make a shield wherever Paulo was standing.
"That's cheating you stupid slimy bastard!" Paulo yelled before he had to quickly roll to avoid a massive tree branch that came down and hard.
"Shit!" This wasn't going well at all.
---
3. You Use a Repel
Part A.
Another easy quest after the last two had been more trouble than he thought. Paulo just had to use some spray and then go swimming. That was the easy part. Swimming was nice out in the lake honestly. Paulo let himself just float on the water in his new swimming trunks he bought just for this quest. He dipped under the water and swam up to anyone else around. He'd burst out of the water and splash at them with a laugh.
Just a dork having fun in the lake.
Part B.
Paulo had gone home and slept in after a fun day of swimming. What he didn't expect was to wake up surrounded by jelly cats, a living teddy bear mailman, several fluffy other things he had no idea what they were, and a bird. He blinked and slowly tried to get out of bed. This was weird. So weird. The weirdness only increased as all of them kept following him around! Into the kitchen, getting ready for work, and even at his job! They wouldn't leave! No matter how many times he tried to shoo them off.
"What in the hell is going on?"
3. You Use a Repel : Part 2
Tobias had spotted the orange and white cat below him, looks like he's having problems. He figures he could try to scare off some of the pests that are bothering the poor guy.

Lucifer Morningstar | Hazbin Hotel
Immortal crabs who had been missing for decades finally showed up again and the research center wanted them to be killed for their gems? Lucifer could do that. Oh he could do that rather easily. Thing was, he was trying to be better. Follow Charlie's example and all that. Murdering a bunch of large crabs who just seemed to be cranky wasn't a good look. What the research center really wanted was the gems. Lucifer had ideas.
He'd been practicing on mastering the basic Spring powers before moving on to the more advanced stuff. He wasn't in a hurry to learn all those powers. Not when his own innate powers could do similar things. Still, practice made perfect. He created small tornados to pick up the crabs so he could grab them and start pulling off the gems. Once done, he'd toss them out to go on their merry way. That was until one latched onto his finger.
"Oh unholy hell! I'm TRYING to be nice here! Let me go and surrender the gem. I will crab bake you! Don't tempt me!"
---
2. Dandelion Dreams Come True
The poor lions. Sure, other people were terrified of them but not this devil. It wasn't like they could smite him or anything. He wanted to try and get them back to their home as soon as possible. The summer area was not the place for them. He transformed into a white, yellow, and red lion himself. He trotted around them and grinned with his sharp teeth.
"Come on, guys. This place is so boring! Let's head back," He said. The lions moved in and a couple of them brushed up against him.
"Whoa. You guys are friendlier than I thought you'd be. Why are people scared of you again?" Lucifer had no idea they were flirting with him.
---
3. Bless the Cursed Rain
Evil birds making the rain evil. Seriously, this place was a hoot. Lucifer could play some fun air war games! Having six wings meant he could easily fly up after them. They dove at him with razor sharp talons and he countered with razor sharp wind blades and a flurry of tornados. The birds were rather unhappy at this interference. So much so they tried to divebomb other adventures or just passersby to lift and try to throw at Lucifer.
"Hey! No dragging others into our fight. Have you no honor, you little feathered bitches!"
Relius Clover | BlazBlue
((CW/TW: possible gore))
The wolf threat was one that required immediate attention. Relius had found interesting information in the library and perhaps now it was time to put it to use. Ignis was outfitted with silver daggers and himself with one as well. The blades would help to stop the wolves' regenerative properties while the killing blow could be administered. Relius knew he needed to find others to test the library information and his own hypothesis.
His battle doll sliced through wolves with her claws as they morphed with scythes, drills, and back into bladed fists. The silver dagger melted with her weapons to slow the healing process. Mannequin hands wielding the dagger emerged from under Relius's cape and dealt with any who got by Ignis. He sliced the throat of one wolf for a larger green mannequin hand to grab the creature and slam it into another world. He turned, spotting another on the battle field.
"You. Perhaps there is a way for us to work together to more effectively kill these creatures. Mind assisting me with an experiment?"
---
2. Dirty Fighting
((CW/TW: murder))
Accessing the criminal quest board was child's play. Hardly a challenge compared to the intricate sequential seals he'd come across by the likes of Phantom and Kokone. Not even a rotating sequence code changing ever 0.002 seconds. Perhaps he could offer his services to better secure this means of information.
The battle area quest was droll but the funds were substantial enough for such an easy task. Relius answered and arrived at the location. In truth, the moon coins were simply an additional benefit. He wished to observe the souls of the locals and outsiders alike fighting in these pits. What became of an outsiders soul when they perished versus that of a native? What better way to discover this than in person?
Relius stepped out into the arena when called. His opponent on the other end. He only had to kill the chosen targets. Anyone else he could simply defeat. Simple enough.
The Wheel of Fate is Turning.

> For Baizhu | TIME FOR CRAB
[Surely, a crab wasn't terribly dangerous. He'd left the venomous version behind in Trench. No reason to be very concerned. If they were large, the pincers would be more of a problem. He has Jeep with him, as usual, so even if they have to make a trek to the lake, it shouldn't be an issue.]
[He'll greet his friend with the usual smile, and the polite incline of his head.]
Well, are you ready to collect some specimens?
HEY SORRY I've been having a time
There's a brief delay before he answers Hakkai, as he takes a moment to get his breath back and then nods.
For the potential reward, this has to be worth it.]
Ah-- hah. Yes, quite ready.
[The snake around his neck flicks her tongue out.]
... In a moment.
IT IS OKAY!
