Her golden eyes glisten at his suggestion, nodding her head in excitement as she steps back to aim her bow and arrow at the dead fish carcass. There's a part of her that would like to extract extra revenge for the quest giver's fallen friend. ]

[ She'll have her pyro infused bows prepped and ready to fire, but she'll only shoot whenever Ayato has collected enough samples and is... safely out of the way. ]

but truly, the one who can help right now is not hu tao, but yoimiya. he finishes placing the parts in the bag she offers, cleaning off his hands as best as he can after. thankfully it wasn't too bad with the use of his sword for leverage, but still pretty gross.

Might be a bit overkill but she wants to make absolutely certain that this eyesore burns. They weren't able to save the friend of the quest giver so it feels a little cathartic to see this creature scorch into flames.

Yoimiya's expert control over fire does the trick, the angler fish in complete flames, charring up to the point of smoke. Soon, it will be nothing but ashes. Admittedly, the smell is kind of bad but that's all part of the job. She's not too bothered by it. ]

It was a rather vague quest, neither of us knew what we'd find here. I'm glad I had your aid, however, it certainly made things much quicker. Nor would I have an issue with teaming up with you again. It's been a pleasure--well, so to speak.

[ She owes Ayato big time today, not only for taking down the creature but also lifting her spirits when she was down about the unfortunate ending to the quest giver's friend. The usual pep in her step has come back as they make the journey back to the city with a bit of newfound hope that their findings will be able to prevent any more victims. ]

{ now would a boba fireworks drink just be chilli flavoured? thankfully it isn't something he'll consider, at least not at the moment.
