But someone else straightened me out. He explained that almost no one went by whatever junk was in the 'name' field when they woke up. That, since we were all stuck together, new team members mostly let their teammates help them pick a name to go by until they got their memories back. Kind of a... bonding exercise.

And then the very next day one of my teammates got shuffled: he went to a different team, and someone else from another team joined ours.
