[ Cloud might still have some of that edginess sterner sense of self, but he'd softened up enough during his time in Nippon that if life really had taken him down a path where he developed a much closer bond to the Director...he would have been even worse at keeping it a secret from her. But just like the last time he knew her, she was still as outgoing and curious as ever.

He feels like a proper apology is in order. But. She's right. ]

Fair enough.

[ He shrugs. ]

[ Leading her back inside to the Guild, as they walk and talk, Cloud starts off with his own world. Or at least, the general basics of it all. How the city of Nightwake was pretty similar as far as technological advances were concerned. How "magic" worked with the usage of powerful spheres known as Materia. Everything that he had taught and told her about during their first encounter back on Nippon. Whether they take the time to find a table to sit down or just converse in the spacious enough lobby, he does eventually move on to the topic of the world they both met in. ]

—so far as I can tell, Ellipsa is like another hub where people from other worlds get brought to. Just like Nippon was.

For the most part, it was pretty close to what you'd expect as far as Inazuman architecture and culture goes.

[ Just...spicier. Significantly spicier. But he can gloss that detail. ]

The first time I was pulled from my world, it was because time across various worlds was getting stuck in loops. So they pulled us out of them till they could get fixed.
