[ It's a good question that Frieda asks as the two of them make their way deeper into the forest. For her part, Navia hasn't felt too worried— but maybe she should, she realizes as the other speaks. The forest is dense, and while she's been able to create a trail to follow in the past, their slow movement makes her think the crystals she can create wouldn't last long enough for them to make their way back.

At the risk of slowing us further, I could fell a tree whenever we make a major turn. If we floated it on the water in the way that we came... the water is still enough here that I don't think it would turn too much. Or...
