Hange does in fact buy them cute matching pyjamas — a shop clerk handily pointed out that matching sets for the whole family is something of a trend for christmas time and well, they are practically a family at this point, right? There's also a thick scarf in there as a gift for Levi (he always runs so cold) as well as a few other odds and ends, but any attempts by the other two to glance inside the bags are met with a hefty swat to the hands. No peeking!
Once they hit the mistletoe, instead of making any attempts to get rid of the plant, Hange instead decides to take pictures of it with their phone while the two boys attempt their disastrous acrobatics routine in order to reach it.
And perhaps they've snapped a few photographs of that, too.
"Huh..." Trusty phone internet in hand, Hange begins to read off the article they found. "Apparently it's called mistletoe. People are supposed to kiss under it during the winter festivals. I think it was put up there on purpose, Levi..."
