"So it does." Although one would think that it should have more in common with a cat than just whiskers, right? Lots of animals have them, after all!

Regardless, they go to the clothing store, and Erwin distracts Levi with asking him to try on at least half a dozen things he's unlikely to actually wear to give Hange the chance to slip away and buy them matching pjs, or something equally cute and ridiculous. Admittedly, asking Levi to put on a black turtleneck is entirely self-indulgent. Hopefully he agrees it's a good look.

For Erwin's part, he's a little caught off guard when they all seem to hit a strange barrier. It's not until Levi points out the curious plant that he even thinks to look up. Huh. Curious.

Even more curious is Levi's reaction, but he doesn't question the request (even if he's fairly certain that Levi could stand on his shoulders and still not reach it, it's pretty high up there-). Crouching, he wraps his arm around Levi's thighs, careful of his bad leg, and powers upward on his own, glutes burning a little. The man has always been dense, but this was easier with two arms to support the weight. Frankly, though, Erwin is just happy he didn't topple them both over.
