(01) ♥ Behind the Scenes of her Intro Video

[Satou's introduction video had to be perfect. First impressions matter a lot and she wasn't going to make a sloppy one. Which means that, for the 2 hours before she posted, Satou was in a park with the camera carefully angled at her... rehearsing her introduction. Most of it was easy; The talking parts came naturally and she didn't want to curate that too much. The problem was the magical girl pose.

Yes, for two hours or so, thinking no one will notice, Satou is in a public park and practicing her magical girl poses. She's especially picky about how she handles her magical girl staff, experimenting with different poses, ways to twirl it, the grace and efficiency of summoning it. Occasionally she'll stop and check the camera, wanting to see how the practice recording looks.]

Uuuugh.

(02) ♥ Memorabilia and a Fear of Forgetting

[It's early in the month when Satou acquires the free camera. She tried to tell herself that she didn't need it, but she couldn't formulate that argument against the kind shop keeper. She stands outside of the beginner apartments, occasionally lifting the camera to peek through its view finder... But she's scared. Her hands tremble, her breath shakes, and her mind spins.

She hasn't seen her little sister in four years. If she takes the picture... What will happen? Will she see her precious sister as she was years ago? Does she even fully remember what her sister looked like? Sometimes she can't remember how long Sakura's hair was or if her eyes were more blue or green...

Her hands shake a bit too much and she fumbles with the camera, ultimately dropping it.]

Auuu

[She asks the camera as she kneels down to pick it up, still struggling to hold it in her shaking hands,]

(03) ♥ The Lonely Girl Helps With CubTales

[When Satou was led to a lonely cub, of course she had to help. Kids who miss their moms are a soft spot for her. And initially, after spotting the mother bear and sensing how much the cub was loved, Satou was really happy... Almost jealous.

But then the mother polar bear started charging after her. There's no room in her head for jealousy anymore. Only running. Her beeline takes her straight to a stranger, to whom she calls out a panicked warning:]

(04) ♥ Waterfall of Gold Lead to a Magical Girl Daydreaming About Blades

[Kuroneko Satou is a wonderful magical girl. She's a calming presence, a girl who chooses to resolve conflicts through talking, and someone who stands for peace and understanding...

And she just got one of the weapon ores from this quest. It's enough to threaten the lie she tells herself about being a beacon of peace. Satou is now back in the city and trying to browse weapon shops with a straight face. The ore is held in her hand and she's excited to turn it into a fantastic new weapon, but she can't let anyone know she's excited. That contradicts the image she needs to maintain. That image currently involving her wearing a black lolita dress and looking overdressed for weapon shopping.]

[She tries to sound as normal as possible. Not too excited. Just curious as she pipes up to get attention from a fellow weapon shop patron,]

(05) ♥ There's No Return From Yourself

[If people go missing, then of course a magical girl has to take action! Satou already has her wand in her hand as she examines the sign. Her red gaze then turns to the person next to. It's perhaps safe to assume that Satou invited your character to team up with her.]

((OOC Note: Satou's mindscape will have contradicting images of her magical girl ideals and her reality as an assassin.))

(06) ♥ Summer Guild & Guild Quests

[When Satou heard that she could join a Guild, she felt a selfish kind of happiness. Maybe this could be a place where she belongs... Hopefully it wouldn't be like working for the MASQ again. She's not eager to be a murderer ever again. She decides to try taking a fairly simple task; Building roads. But before setting out formally, she wants to wander the guild and see the sights. Whenever she crosses paths with someone, Satou bounces on her heels and calls out cheerfully in greeting:]

Yeah! Did you just join Summer Guild? It's always really exciting here!

Yes. I got your back.

[And Nanoha is already transformed, Raising Heart in her hands. After her brush with death, she's ready for anything.]

When you're ready.

[ Funny enough, Jyoti is in a similar boat: camera in hand, unsure of who or what she'll see if she takes a picture, and being very, very scared to find out. She'd been adamant about there being no one she wanted to see (which is the truth, and where they ultimately differ. she doesn't want to see her family. especially not her sister.), but the shop keeper was having none of that.

Ugh. Maybe there was someone she could just sell her camera to instead. There's got to be some fool in the city that'd pay for a chance to take more photos...

Or maybe any at all, in Satou's case. ] ... You okay? [ uhhhh hope that camera is okay girlie ]

[ The someone Satou happens to cross with is one Cherry Biscotti, who is currently in the process of using one of the guild's computer. Phrased like that because while she's been in Ellipsa for a month now and some ~~NPCs~~ guild members had very kindly showed her how to navigate between all the databases, she's still very much a fish out of water. ]

Oh! Pardon me. [ The awkward fumbling with the mouse and keyboard's put on hold in favor of turning and giving the other girl her full attention. ] I agree with you! I'm rather impressed by how well-organized the requests are, as well. It's nice to see there are quests anyone can help out with.

[ But oh, right - she politely steps aside. ] Were you waiting to use the computer?
