At the end of the day, Galliard just doesn't want to carry around a jar he views as useless. But if Levi wants to assign him more altruistic motivations, he won't dispute them.

"Okay, thanks." Galliard starts walking away, trusting that Levi will follow him, and he's taking slightly shorter steps than usual. He would never dream of doing that around adult Levi, but he's spent enough time around the young Warrior cadets that it just comes naturally.
