The more of these sorts of questions Levi asks, the more Erwin starts to put a few pieces together. His mother gone, going to look for food, not going to school, asking if his father is rich for being able to afford meals for their small family. It's maybe then that he notices a little more the condition of Levi's clothes, the thinness of his arms and wrists.
