Eren hasn't really anticipated it (which is rich for someone who knew so much all at once when everyone else knew precious little). It's a nonissue to him; he promised Levi he'd be better and he has. He hasn't started a fight, though it was a near thing with Reiner when he showed up.

He'll fight if someone else starts it. Sometimes he's itching for it.

Being this far removed from their world softens his edges in some ways, but the violence that thrums in his blood is too ingrained. He deals with his fight instinct on missions and whatever. He doesn't want to actually kill anyone most of the time.

He's only run into Galliard the once, where he was unrecognised, which kept things from turning into a shit show. He mostly avoids Gabi, though she hasn't indicated that she's about to start a fight either. It's fine, right?

He shrugs a shoulder. He's already leaning on his hands a little but shifts closer to Reiner. They're not quite touching. Not quite.

"Because of your friend or whatever being here? Or because of Marco?"

He assumes Reiner has seen Marco by now.
