Just like a spooked cat, Levi seems to gradually grow less tense when he's not being perceived. Soon enough, he's watching with open curiosity, and yes, he's definitely using the opportunity to get a better look at that movement once Galliard slows down.

By the time he's gotten five fireflies, Levi seems to be willing to talk again.
