He leaves the rest unsaid. He was confused being Macaque wanted him in pain. What felt like. Every. Single. Time. So he couldn't understand what he'd been looking as as the chill had taken him over.

His tail taps just slightly, brushing Macaque's fingers by accident. The touch is familiar. How close they are. Part of him says to reassure Macaque, the other asks why because he'll be bitten...not that he doesn't deserve it. So the best he can do is just not push him away.
