Reiner tells Eren he didn't make it weird. He thinks about protesting because he knows he's always weird now, but it's letting him off the hook. Again. As usual.
The world made it weird, made them enemies, pitted on the opposite side of a conflict they could neither escape nor ignore. Whatever they are now, they can't erase that. All they can do is…move forward. Choose, as Eren tries to, to be something else. But the memories and the trauma and the past linger.
Their hands touch and he relaxes just slightly, the barest sink of his tensed shoulders responding. It's only for a moment, but it's no less grounding for that. At least he can refocus himself on the present, on the game they're meant to be playing.
His eyes flick down, curious about the colour of the candy.

He's so glad Reiner doesn't pick truth, though for a moment all he can do is stare at Reiner's mouth. He wears that smirk well and Eren wants to kiss it off his face. But if he starts in now, he might not stop, and the private rooms in the teahouse aren't that kind of private.
He manages, pulling his gaze back up to meet Reiner's eyes.
"Dare, huh?" he repeats, stalling for time. He has no idea what to dare Reiner to do. He did that whole dumb favourites thing on the other colour, but this one is more overt.
He thinks about the toy in his room that he got from Eiden. Has Reiner ever seen something like that? (It's just a vibrator, it's not that special.) He doesn't know, and this isn't a truth question, and what would he say anyway? He trips on his words about shit like that sometimes.

"I dare you to go in one of those stores that has all the weird sex shit," he finally says. "Find something you wanna try."
He doesn't invite himself on this trip or anything, that's a step too far, but isn't it implied? Aren't they doing this kind of thing together much of the time? Eren's under no delusions that Reiner never sees anyone else. He doesn't care about things like that. But they do do a lot of things together, so it's up to Reiner's discretion if this is one of them.
