IZUKU BIRTHDAY 🎉
WHO: Katsuki, Izuku (birthday boy), and anyone who knows them and their +1s!!
WHAT: Izuku's belated birthday party!!
WHEN: August 1st, 5 PM to 8 PM.
WHERE: A large park in Blossomcrown
WARNINGS: Katsuki swears a lot but that's about it!!
[Today's the day.
Katsuki had everything planned right to the second, his perfectionism as strong as ever as he put together arrangements, guests, the list of foods to make. That's why he was so livid, then, when a storm hit the day before Izuku's birthday. It was supposed to be perfect, but now Katsuki has to settle for less than perfect.
So he's really going all out. He tells people to gather at a park in Blossomcrown, one big enough to hold a small event and plenty sunny. He sends his and Izuku's best friend from home, Shoto, to take Izuku out for the day so he could set up the event, and gets things ready hours before it started. He invited anybody who knew Izuku but requested they bring gifts, which he takes from everyone and puts on a table neatly and orderly stacked.
On two other long tables are an array of foods he's cooked-- mostly Japanese cuisine. Summer foods, to fit the mood. Things you'd find at a summer festival-- takoyaki, taiyaki, dango, okonomiyaki, oden, rice balls, and other such things. As well as an extravagant chocolate birthday cake, which is on it's own table, baked masterfully by Kantera. There's one more table, mostly empty, for people to put dishes onto if they brought any.

Other than that, there's ample space to lay out blankets. Katsuki chose a time specifically right before the sun was going to set, for a nice view. And once the sun was down, it was time for the main event.
Fireworks.
Katsuki, for those who may not know, sweats nitro glycerin which is an explosive substance. He had done some testing, and found out that mixing certain elements with fire creates colour. So, he makes little bombs filled with nitro glycerin and different elements (copper creates green fire, for example), and when it's time he uses his telekinesis to toss them up a good distance before shooting little balls of fire at them to make them explode. Katsuki had been working on this for a few weeks now, and it's not like your average firework show. It's.. quite literally colourful explosions in the air.
Like planes were blowing up in the sky.
It's pretty at least? And surprisingly safe.
There's not much more than that, that Katsuki had planned. It's sort of like a mini summer festival, where people can mingle and enjoy all kinds of foods. Katsuki himself will be fretting over every aspect of the event, making sure everyone is behaving and making it a fun time for Izuku.]
