Reiner turns to face Hakkai, the Armored's glowing eyes staring down. He knows how intimidating he can be in this form, and he's not trying to unnerve Hakkai. So the Armored drops to one knee, an elbow propped on the one still raised, trying to make himself seem less … well, giant.
"Sorry for the surprise. I forgot that I didn't get around to explaining. This is the Armored: my Titan."
The Armored's mouth remains firmly shut, Reiner's words spoken directly into Hakkai's head. He addresses that next.
"My Titan can't talk, so I'm using an Autumn power to communicate. It only goes one way." Just in case Hakkai might worry about mind-reading. "Would you be all right with me lifting you off the ground? I'm concerned about the kelpie that ran off."
