[Ozymandias has probably been wondering about that from the start, but they're unlikely to get an answer. One more little heat boost, and Hijikata steps away from him to reassess the situation. Right now they can see three yeti who are lurking in plain sight of them, clearly wanting to advance but wary of doing so, given the laser attacks.]
My fire magic hasn't been up to par lately, but let's see...
[He's been lacking in anger. Usually he's so incredibly easy to piss off that his magical capacities automatically get a boost whenever he enters a conflict, but after the Gorgon incident the guilt and all the humbling talks have subdued his furnace-like temper.
Nevertheless he targets the nearest yeti, and without preamble its fur starts burning in many places. The creature only flails for a second before dropping down and rolling around in the cold wet snow, which quickly extinguishes the flames. Given how thick the yeti's fur is the fire doesn't seem to have burned its skin, but it looks pretty awful right now, singed all over. It lets out a loud upset howl, but at the sight of Hijikata, who now has a bunch of small flames hovering around him as a promise of more attacks, it retreats to where its two peers are. They run up to it, presumably to check on it.]
Sorry, that wasn't as good as it usually gets. I can generally keep it going no matter what.
[He's awfully persistent when he wants to burn something and very willing to dry up any wetness so his flames can take hold again.]
