That's because they were arrogant fools who thought destiny was somehow justification. Its pretty much heroics 101 to not slaughter innocent people.

And the label matters when its used as a guideline.

At least when you're a villain, people know to expect pain. To expect disappointment. To expect for their to be selfish, hurtful actions. And you know who people blame?

The villain.

But when its the hero? As long as they hurt the right people, they get praised. They get stories written about them, never mind who else was hurt alongside those right people, who have to listen to it told over, and over, and over again.

And when the bad guy succeeds, heroes are made to hurt. Either by the masses or their own minds.

The Noodle Boy is blaming himself for my achievements and my mistakes.

You think I want that for him?!
