Reiner pulls a face at Eren's first words, clearly not believing living with Levi could honestly be described as "not really that bad." Gabi gave Reiner a whole list of rules covering everything from dirt to dandruff—and that was just for visitors! How Eren manages it day-to-day is a mystery.
He shifts his weight, unconsciously bringing himself a little closer, his body searching for heat that it can't feel. The lack of warmth rolling off of Eren's skin is nearly as disturbing to Reiner as his own chill. He hates that they're both affected; he hates that neither of them feels normal. Maybe Reiner has grown spoiled by the heat of Eren's skin, a perfect match for his own. But even if that's the case, Reiner doesn't like some magic bullshit taking it away.
"Robot thing," Reiner repeats, trying to figure out what Eren means. Then he cocks his head to the side. "You mean that thing climbing the walls? Or the other thing hovering over it?"
Both of which were very weird! Reiner spent a solid three minutes just watching them from his place on the floor, trying to figure out what they were doing.
