[Purple's quiet for a bit, thinking over their next choice of words. It's becoming clearer to them how Shigeru feels about the topic of death - then again, they shouldn't be surprised when he's so painfully mortal.
Despite being immortal, themself, death is a topic Purple knows a lot about. Perhaps far too much.
It's why, even though they stood and faced death in a battle head-on, they accepted that it was their time with no complaints.

... Okay, with few complaints. But that was before they truly understood what was going on.]


This is a heavy topic for you. It is admirable. Someone who chooses to spend their life healing should care quite a bit about the deaths of others.

However, as a former immortal and a necromancer both, I wish to pose a question for you.
What do you suppose happens to a world that remains stagnant for millions of years?
No lives coming or going. Every life remaining the same, day after day, for an eternity.
