Lahabrea blinks in confusion. ’What?’ He could hear the question ringing through his mind as he tries to rationalize what’s happening here. He stares at Hythlodaeus for a moment, his face completely devoid of any emotion except for the slight widening of his eyes.

Is this man flirting with him? It certainly seems like he’s flirting with him but why? Why would anyone do such a thing? While Lahabrea had his fair share of admirers, this is the first time he ever heard Hythlodaeus speak to him in such a manner. It’s a tad baffling, to be honest but not wholly unwelcoming for some oddity.

A thoughtful hum escapes Lahabrea as he considers how to reply. Shouldn’t he just ‘shoo’ Hythlodaeus away and be done with it? Probably, but will he? That’s a whole another question altogether. Just when he was about to inquire about Hythlodaeus’ intention, the man leans in and gently brushes his hair back. That sweet gesture causes him to tense momentarily but eventually he relaxes.

“Ah, thank you,” He lets out an awkward cough before answering that ridiculous question.”I suppose I wouldn’t mind sharing a bed since you’ve been more than generous to share your home with me.” It would only be fair, right?

“Therefore, I bid you welcome.”
