{ even though light filters into the house by the time ayaka wakes up and leaves her room, lights are on in the living room where he's taken himself to keep occupied. papers are all over the coffee table, ink smudges on the wood that will likely need to be cleaned later. he's dressed, though it's just in clothes from last night--a sign he hasn't slept at all since he got back.
his phone is propped up in front of him, notebook covered in notes and sketches but parts of it almost seem illegible, dark splotches of ink staining the paper as though he's been careless with it.
the frame it's left on doesn't really seem like it makes sense either, the entire screen seems black.
the biggest sign something is off is how he seems to be staring past his phone, eyes unblinking, as his fountain pen scratches over the same piece of the paper over and over until the point it's ripping through it. he's too lost in his thoughts to really make note of what he's doing. }
