However, power is isolating, and it attracts those full of jealousy and greed. You're a goal to surmount, or an asset to subjugate, or a threat to eliminate. The more powerful you become, the more these challenges fight to bar your path.

I believe a balance is needed. Power required to protect you and yours, yet not so much that you stand on the pinnacle, utterly alone.
