Odd. Wasn't his Emblem referred to as some sort of professor by the others in the Somniel? Yet Byleth doesn't even talk about having taught. Maybe Madeline got her Emblems mixed up.

"That must have been a hard life growing up." She remarks. "Though I suppose from an outsider's perspective one could say the same about my childhood. I can scarcely remember a time before I began training myself to be a knight." First under her parents, and then Mauvier. It was hard, challenging work.

Finishing up her apple, Madeline stands up, resting her hand atop her shield. "I'm still getting my bearings around this segment." She continues. "Would you like to join me? We can continue our conversation as we roam." Byleth might be able to show her a few places, but even just a little light reconnoitering would pass by with company. And Byleth is easy to talk to. A bit baffling, but easy.
