WHAT: Paint & Pour.

WHERE: Spring Segment, Prism Lake
WARNINGS: Drunk Painting.


[ kaveh decided to set up the paint & pour on the shores of prism lake, because a beautiful landscape seemed like something that artists of all skill level could enjoy creating. not to mention, it's also something that probably wouldn't suffer too much if/when guests inevitably started getting tispy. ]

[ there are three canopy tents framing the lake and, unsurprisingly, the first of which has all manner of art supplies: canvases, easels, and paints. the second has an assortment of delicious snacks made by shigeru and the third, final, and likely most anticipated has the wine. there are at least a dozen bottles, each labeled with the segment and shop it came from, because kaveh absolutely went around with the intention of helping them promote their business. ]

[ it's not a complete lie!
everybody wins!! ]


( ooc; feel free to assume that your character received an invitation from either kaveh or shigeru. it IS open to the public though, so if your character is strolling by and so much as makes eye contact with either of them, then they'll likely get dragged into the fun. anyway! bring your own top level~! )

[ And they both know Alhaitham's tastes. ]

No need for that. I'm going to take care of everything. [ ... ] But maybe if you're lucky I'll let you put one of your ugly sculptures in the house. [ clears his throat, because he's already offending his delicate sensibilities with just the mention of this. ] I- In the corner or something.

[ He will be getting the biggest statue he can fit inside a house- ]

[ DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE. ]

[ He will. ]

... Your bandages are done. You can rest now.

[ kaveh shuts the first aid kit and sets it aside, tipping into alhaitham. ] ...thank you. [ he reaches for his hand, taking it in between both of his. ] You never did answer my question. [ he turns his head to whisper against the side of his face because i can't remember if he's got his headphones on. ] Are you going to mark me?

[rudementary]

[ The headphones were taken off, don't ask me how long it took me to find where they were removed it's 2am. ]

[ He draws in a perceptible breath as Kaveh's words brush close to his ear, glancing down at their held hands. ]

When you are capable of handling the results of it. In short, full health.

[ too long I’m sure ]

Explosive Dendro Cores, though dangerous to most, may actually speed up my recovery… [ alhaitham, come on. ]

[rudementary]

Kaveh. Your body requires rest.

[ It's hardly been a day since Kaveh got injured and while Alhaitham's familiar with the man's frankly terrible habits of downplaying his injuries, the scribe isn't inclined toward pretending they weren't there. ]

[ But with Kaveh's seemingly endless... appetite, for lack of a better term, he'd beginning to seriously contemplate if the man would be easier to handle if he were worn out in that capacity. ]

I know. I know. We don't have to do anything... And we don't even know if your mark is going to have a similar reaction. I just. [ he places one hand on his chest, because he just can't resist. ] I want it.

[rudementary]

... Lay down then.

[ Though he suspects his mark won't have anywhere near the sort of effect on Kaveh's body that the one brought on by that wishing item had, there's no harm in taking precautions just in case. ]

[ he moves toward the center of the bed and lays back, stretching out like a cat. ]

[rudementary]

[ The sight is both ridiculous and charming. ]

[ Alhaitham really must have lost his mind to Kaveh. ]

Tell me immediately if something feels off.

[ Because while Alhaitham is used to dendro infusions, he's never done so on someone else. With a gentleness unlike himself, he lets his hand wave over Kaveh, using the same skill he would to infuse his sword with dendro to pass into Kaveh instead. ]

[ kaveh is a little nervous... but his nervousness doesn't stem from anything alhaitham related. the other mark had appeared as a result of the bone. just poof and it was there. this mark is going to be infused into him, so he wonders if he's going to feel that happening. it's kind of exciting... but that's what has him a little nervous. is it going to be intense? just what is it going to feel like? his mind races as he watches alhaitham. ]

[ Kaveh don't get excited about getting infused by dendro this is a terrible habit to pick up!! ]

[ There's the familiar glow of green as the mark forms on Kaveh; Alhaitham concentrates the element to form into a singular spot, smaller than the one formed before. It forms just above his waistline, a brilliant green that matches to their vision colors with a faint glow to it that more aligns with the green of Alhaitham's mirrors. ]

... There.

[ kaveh moves a hand to the back of alhaitham's neck, fingers tangling in the small tufts of hair there. it feels like a tangle of roots has been planted in his gut and it's just waiting to spread out and grow. ] Touch it, Alhaitham. [ he murmurs against his lips, tugging him into a kiss. ] I want to know what it feels like.

[rudementary]

At this rate, you'll develop an addiction to marks.

[ But he reaches out to let his fingers brush over the mark he's left, feeling the faint pull of his own dendro energy on the other man. ]

[ as alhaitham's fingers dance across his mark kaveh realizes that there isn't an immediate burst of pleasure that shakes him to his core. rather, a cool and kind of... calming feeling. it's nice in its own right, but certainly not something he'd expected. he expels a breath, shutting his eyes as he oozes into the bed. he stretches out again, turning his head to pointedly nuzzle into alhaitham's pillow. ] Mm.

[rudementary]

[ Alhaitham has his eyes locked on Kaveh, watching for his reactions to see if he reacts in a way anywhere near similar to the last time. But when Kaveh relaxes under his touch instead he... relaxes a bit himself. ]

Different feeling, I take it?

[noarchitact]

[ he nods, opening his eyes to look at him through his messy blond bangs. ] A lot different, yeah, but it’s not bad. It’s not nearly as intense, and the feel of it doesn’t radiate arousal… but instead it’s kind of soothing. [ he reaches out for alhaitham, fingers dancing across his arm because he’s just out of reach. ] Like you. It reminds me you, and how you make me feel… at least some of the time. [ a playful jab. ]

[rudementary]

If this is a reliable way to get you to relax, I'll take it.

[ He moves though, to slide onto the bed next to Kaveh now that he's more settled in and not in danger from exploding in arousal. ]

Do you enjoy being marked so much?

[noarchitact]

[ he rolls his eyes, turning toward alhaitham, so he can bury his face against him and double down on the feeling of relaxation. ] … [ he’s going to see about getting another wishing bone(r) for alhaitham, although he doubts he’ll be able to convince him to use it, hmm. ]

You can’t tell me you haven’t enjoyed it too. Marking me as well as reaping the benefits of ensuring results... [ turning this around on him. ]

[rudementary]

I'd prefer seeing you lose yourself from my efforts alone.

[ Alhaitham may have his eyes closed, relaxing beside the architect while letting him bury his face against him, but there's a clear edge of pride in his words. ]

[ alhaitham's going to hear his breath hitch as kaveh goes still, his hand curling into his chest as he peers up at him through his bangs. ] ...you have done that plenty of times, Alhaitham. I don't think there's any doubt that you can make me come undone on your efforts alone.
