WARNINGS: Drunk Painting.


[ kaveh decided to set up the paint & pour on the shores of prism lake, because a beautiful landscape seemed like something that artists of all skill level could enjoy creating. not to mention, it's also something that probably wouldn't suffer too much if/when guests inevitably started getting tispy. ]

[ there are three canopy tents framing the lake and, unsurprisingly, the first of which has all manner of art supplies: canvases, easels, and paints. the second has an assortment of delicious snacks made by shigeru and the third, final, and likely most anticipated has the wine. there are at least a dozen bottles, each labeled with the segment and shop it came from, because kaveh absolutely went around with the intention of helping them promote their business. ]

[ it's not a complete lie!
everybody wins!! ]


( ooc; feel free to assume that your character received an invitation from either kaveh or shigeru. it IS open to the public though, so if your character is strolling by and so much as makes eye contact with either of them, then they'll likely get dragged into the fun. anyway! bring your own top level~! )

[ Considering all that transpired that day, it was a two-man effort. ]

You do take up less room than I expected.

[ Maybe because half the time Kaveh ended up partially on top of him. ]

If I recall, Alhaitham, you threw water on me and that's what did it.

[ but it was the mark on him that did it, and kaveh is the reason he got the mark to begin with... ]

Maybe it's just because you have a bigger bed. [ he's definitely not going to admit that it's because he cuddles with alhaitham. ]

And if I recall, it takes dendro and hydro to trigger a bloom reaction and I certainly didn't infuse myself with dendro that day.

[ The dirtied bandages are tossed away once they're unraveled, Alhaitham's hands gentle as he wipes the wound clean. ]

Are you in the market for a larger one?

I didn't do it on purpose, Alhaitham. I used that bone to get you a book, remember? It's not like I asked to be marked with that... that mark! [ ...but that reminds him, his face coloring at the thought. ] No, I don't think we need a larger bed, but... didn't you say you were going to mark me...

[rudementary]

I remember.

[ He's quiet for a moment as he starts wrapping the fresh bandages again, then. ]

Are you planning to ruin my bed next?

No. [ ... ] Unless you'd like a new bed.

[rudementary]

A larger one wouldn't be a terrible idea, once we move.

[ He's not opposed. ]

...once we move. We might have to get a lot more furniture, since we're going to have so much more space.

You'll be able to buy plenty, I assume, with all the money you've been saving?

With all the money I've been saving. [ he's gotten better. ]

I look forward to seeing your choice in decor then. Otherwise, I'll be furnishing as well.

[ And they both know Alhaitham's tastes. ]

No need for that. I'm going to take care of everything. [ ... ] But maybe if you're lucky I'll let you put one of your ugly sculptures in the house. [ clears his throat, because he's already offending his delicate sensibilities with just the mention of this. ] I- In the corner or something.

[rudementary]

[ He will be getting the biggest statue he can fit inside a house- ]

How gracious of you.

[ DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE. ]

[ He will. ]

... Your bandages are done. You can rest now.

[ kaveh shuts the first aid kit and sets it aside, tipping into alhaitham. ] ...thank you. [ he reaches for his hand, taking it in between both of his. ] You never did answer my question. [ he turns his head to whisper against the side of his face because i can't remember if he's got his headphones on. ] Are you going to mark me?

[rudementary]

[ The headphones were taken off, don't ask me how long it took me to find where they were removed it's 2am. ]

[ He draws in a perceptible breath as Kaveh's words brush close to his ear, glancing down at their held hands. ]

When you are capable of handling the results of it. In short, full health.

Explosive Dendro Cores, though dangerous to most, may actually speed up my recovery… [ alhaitham, come on. ]

[rudementary]

Kaveh. Your body requires rest.

[ It's hardly been a day since Kaveh got injured and while Alhaitham's familiar with the man's frankly terrible habits of downplaying his injuries, the scribe isn't inclined toward pretending they weren't there. ]

[ But with Kaveh's seemingly endless... appetite, for lack of a better term, he'd beginning to seriously contemplate if the man would be easier to handle if he were worn out in that capacity. ]

I know. I know. We don't have to do anything... And we don't even know if your mark is going to have a similar reaction. I just. [ he places one hand on his chest, because he just can't resist. ] I want it.

[rudementary]

... Lay down then.

[ Though he suspects his mark won't have anywhere near the sort of effect on Kaveh's body that the one brought on by that wishing item had, there's no harm in taking precautions just in case. ]

[ he moves toward the center of the bed and lays back, stretching out like a cat. ]

[rudementary]

[ The sight is both ridiculous and charming. ]

[ Alhaitham really must have lost his mind to Kaveh. ]

Tell me immediately if something feels off.

[ Because while Alhaitham is used to dendro infusions, he's never done so on someone else. With a gentleness unlike himself, he lets his hand wave over Kaveh, using the same skill he would to infuse his sword with dendro to pass into Kaveh instead. ]

[ kaveh is a little nervous... but his nervousness doesn't stem from anything alhaitham related. the other mark had appeared as a result of the bone. just poof and it was there. this mark is going to be infused into him, so he wonders if he's going to feel that happening. it's kind of exciting... but that's what has him a little nervous. is it going to be intense? just what is it going to feel like? his mind races as he watches alhaitham. ]

[ Kaveh don't get excited about getting infused by dendro this is a terrible habit to pick up!! ]

[ There's the familiar glow of green as the mark forms on Kaveh; Alhaitham concentrates the element to form into a singular spot, smaller than the one formed before. It forms just above his waistline, a brilliant green that matches to their vision colors with a faint glow to it that more aligns with the green of Alhaitham's mirrors. ]
