WARNINGS: Drunk Painting.


[ kaveh decided to set up the paint & pour on the shores of prism lake, because a beautiful landscape seemed like something that artists of all skill level could enjoy creating. not to mention, it's also something that probably wouldn't suffer too much if/when guests inevitably started getting tispy. ]

[ there are three canopy tents framing the lake and, unsurprisingly, the first of which has all manner of art supplies: canvases, easels, and paints. the second has an assortment of delicious snacks made by shigeru and the third, final, and likely most anticipated has the wine. there are at least a dozen bottles, each labeled with the segment and shop it came from, because kaveh absolutely went around with the intention of helping them promote their business. ]

[ it's not a complete lie!
everybody wins!! ]


( ooc; feel free to assume that your character received an invitation from either kaveh or shigeru. it IS open to the public though, so if your character is strolling by and so much as makes eye contact with either of them, then they'll likely get dragged into the fun. anyway! bring your own top level~! )

Sit up.

[ It's a command but it's softer than he might usually say it, his hands falling down to Kaveh's waist to catch the edges of that turtleneck. ]

[ sits up. ] How's this? [ looks down at his hands. ] I'm going to get cold... [ he's not going to stop complaining. ] Will you warm me up?

[rudementary]

[ At least he's got plenty of experience with this. Going to get the turtleneck off this drunken man carefully, minding the bandages as he does so. Once that's off, he'll press his fingers under Kaveh's chin to hold him still, checking to see if they need changing. ]

We share a bed now, Kaveh. You don't need to ask.

[ the bandages are a bit red, and definitely need to be changed. he reaches for them as soon as the turtleneck is off, because they're feeling kind of itchy. ] ... [ that just makes his face go red. ] I'm still getting used to that.

[rudementary]

[ He catches that hand, guiding it away as he leans over to pull the first aid kit off the bedside table, placing it in Kaveh's lap so he can go about changing the bandages for him. ]

Unless you'd like to go back into sleeping in your half-destroyed room.

No. [ huffs, looking aside for just a moment. ] I'm not going to sleep in a bed that you destroyed. I like it in here better besides.

[rudementary]

We destroyed.

[ Considering all that transpired that day, it was a two-man effort. ]

You do take up less room than I expected.

[ Maybe because half the time Kaveh ended up partially on top of him. ]

If I recall, Alhaitham, you threw water on me and that's what did it.

[ but it was the mark on him that did it, and kaveh is the reason he got the mark to begin with... ]

Maybe it's just because you have a bigger bed. [ he's definitely not going to admit that it's because he cuddles with alhaitham. ]

And if I recall, it takes dendro and hydro to trigger a bloom reaction and I certainly didn't infuse myself with dendro that day.

[ The dirtied bandages are tossed away once they're unraveled, Alhaitham's hands gentle as he wipes the wound clean. ]

Are you in the market for a larger one?

I didn't do it on purpose, Alhaitham. I used that bone to get you a book, remember? It's not like I asked to be marked with that... that mark! [ ...but that reminds him, his face coloring at the thought. ] No, I don't think we need a larger bed, but... didn't you say you were going to mark me...

[rudementary]

I remember.

[ He's quiet for a moment as he starts wrapping the fresh bandages again, then. ]

Are you planning to ruin my bed next?

[noarchitact]

No. [ ... ] Unless you'd like a new bed.

[rudementary]

A larger one wouldn't be a terrible idea, once we move.

[ He's not opposed. ]

[noarchitact]

...once we move. We might have to get a lot more furniture, since we're going to have so much more space.

[rudementary]

You'll be able to buy plenty, I assume, with all the money you've been saving?

[noarchitact]

With all the money I've been saving. [ he's gotten better. ]

[rudementary]

I look forward to seeing your choice in decor then. Otherwise, I'll be furnishing as well.

[ And they both know Alhaitham's tastes. ]

[noarchitact]

No need for that. I'm going to take care of everything. [ ... ] But maybe if you're lucky I'll let you put one of your ugly sculptures in the house. [ clears his throat, because he's already offending his delicate sensibilities with just the mention of this. ] I- In the corner or something.

[rudementary]

[ He will be getting the biggest statue he can fit inside a house- ]

How gracious of you.

[ DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE. ]

[rudementary]

[ He will. ]

... Your bandages are done. You can rest now.

[noarchitact]

[ kaveh shuts the first aid kit and sets it aside, tipping into alhaitham. ] ...thank you. [ he reaches for his hand, taking it in between both of his. ] You never did answer my question. [ he turns his head to whisper against the side of his face because i can't remember if he's got his headphones on. ] Are you going to mark me?

[rudementary]

[ The headphones were taken off, don't ask me how long it took me to find where they were removed it's 2am. ]

[ He draws in a perceptible breath as Kaveh's words brush close to his ear, glancing down at their held hands. ]

When you are capable of handling the results of it. In short, full health.

Explosive Dendro Cores, though dangerous to most, may actually speed up my recovery… [ alhaitham, come on. ]

Kaveh. Your body requires rest.

[ It's hardly been a day since Kaveh got injured and while Alhaitham's familiar with the man's frankly terrible habits of downplaying his injuries, the scribe isn't inclined toward pretending they weren't there. ]

[ But with Kaveh's seemingly endless... appetite, for lack of a better term, he'd beginning to seriously contemplate if the man would be easier to handle if he were worn out in that capacity. ]
