WARNINGS: Drunk Painting.


[ kaveh decided to set up the paint & pour on the shores of prism lake, because a beautiful landscape seemed like something that artists of all skill level could enjoy creating. not to mention, it's also something that probably wouldn't suffer too much if/when guests inevitably started getting tispy. ]

[ there are three canopy tents framing the lake and, unsurprisingly, the first of which has all manner of art supplies: canvases, easels, and paints. the second has an assortment of delicious snacks made by shigeru and the third, final, and likely most anticipated has the wine. there are at least a dozen bottles, each labeled with the segment and shop it came from, because kaveh absolutely went around with the intention of helping them promote their business. ]

[ it's not a complete lie!
everybody wins!! ]


( ooc; feel free to assume that your character received an invitation from either kaveh or shigeru. it IS open to the public though, so if your character is strolling by and so much as makes eye contact with either of them, then they'll likely get dragged into the fun. anyway! bring your own top level~! )

[ clears his throat. ] ...o- of course not.

[ Worth it, to see the way Kaveh flusters and tries to hide his fluster. At least he doesn't need to hide it anymore, now that Alhaitham's carrying him into their shared apartment. ]

I'm putting you down now.

[ At least there's a warning and not a very sudden drop. ]

Sure. I think I... I need to lay down...

Lay down with me? [ going to keep his face buried in alhaitham, so he can't see how red his face has gotten. ]

[ Kaveh you do realize he can feel the blush against his chest right. ]

[ Either way, Alhaitham doesn't comment, simply changes paths from the couch to their now shared bedroom where it'll be easier to lay down. ]

You seem like you have a lot on your mind.

I... maybe? I don't know. Everything's a little hazy. It's because I'm tipsy though. No other reason. Just drank a bit too much. It'll pass, I just need to lay down.

[rudementary]

Good, because if your face grows any redder, I'd be concerned about you fainting.

[ He saw. ]

[ of course he saw. ]

Maybe I'm getting sick.

[ love sick. ]

I did drink a lot of wine and I haven't fully recovered from... [ he trails off, regretting having mentioned it at all. ] you know.

Nevermind just ugh!, ...I'm not going to faint.

[rudementary]

I won't tolerate vomiting in the bed either.

[ He lets that particular conversation topic fade away as Kaveh would prefer, instead continuing with teasing him as he moves to set Kaveh down on their shared bed. ]

[ slaps a hand on his arm. ] I'm not going to barf on the bed.

It's worth noting.

[ Once Kaveh is set down he'll pull back, mainly to remove his coat and gloves. The headphones stay. ]

[ kaveh sits there, waiting for him to get closer, so he reach for his headphones and try to remove them. ]

[ He lets him without a fight, though his brow does raise in turn. ]

Do you want my attention, or my music?

I want your undivided attention.

[rudementary]

[ That gets an amused look from Alhaitham, leaning over Kaveh. ]

You already have it.

Good. [ he sets his headphones down and cups his cheek, giving him a wine flavored kiss. ]

[rudementary]

[ What a strong wine taste... ]

How much did you...

[ He manages that much before he's leaning in to kiss Kaveh some more anyway. Wine-flavoring apparently isn't a deterrent. ]

...a lot. [ murmurs against his mouth right before indulging in that kiss. ] I didn't want to think about the other day.

[rudementary]

[ He gives a low hum before shifting further onto the bed, continuing with that indulgent kiss with a slow heat that's... far nicer to engage in than he'd expected. ]

Then don't think about it.

'm not. I have you, 'haitham, takin' my mind off'a things. [ his speech starts to slur a little, because not only is he still positively drunk, but he's also feeling pretty tired. acting like everything's normal and fine takes a lot more out of a person than one might think. ] I want this turtleneck off... [ he had worn it specifically to block the bandages on his neck. ]

[rudementary]

Sit up.

[ It's a command but it's softer than he might usually say it, his hands falling down to Kaveh's waist to catch the edges of that turtleneck. ]

[ sits up. ] How's this? [ looks down at his hands. ] I'm going to get cold... [ he's not going to stop complaining. ] Will you warm me up?

[rudementary]

[ At least he's got plenty of experience with this. Going to get the turtleneck off this drunken man carefully, minding the bandages as he does so. Once that's off, he'll press his fingers under Kaveh's chin to hold him still, checking to see if they need changing. ]

We share a bed now, Kaveh. You don't need to ask.

[noarchitact]

[ the bandages are a bit red, and definitely need to be changed. he reaches for them as soon as the turtleneck is off, because they're feeling kind of itchy. ] ... [ that just makes his face go red. ] I'm still getting used to that.

[rudementary]

[ He catches that hand, guiding it away as he leans over to pull the first aid kit off the bedside table, placing it in Kaveh's lap so he can go about changing the bandages for him. ]

Unless you'd like to go back into sleeping in your half-destroyed room.

No. [ huffs, looking aside for just a moment. ] I'm not going to sleep in a bed that you destroyed. I like it in here better besides.
