[ kaveh decided to set up the paint & pour on the shores of prism lake, because a beautiful landscape seemed like something that artists of all skill level could enjoy creating. not to mention, it's also something that probably wouldn't suffer too much if/when guests inevitably started getting tispy. ]

[ there are three canopy tents framing the lake and, unsurprisingly, the first of which has all manner of art supplies: canvases, easels, and paints. the second has an assortment of delicious snacks made by shigeru and the third, final, and likely most anticipated has the wine. there are at least a dozen bottles, each labeled with the segment and shop it came from, because kaveh absolutely went around with the intention of helping them promote their business. ]

( ooc; feel free to assume that your character received an invitation from either kaveh or shigeru. it IS open to the public though, so if your character is strolling by and so much as makes eye contact with either of them, then they'll likely get dragged into the fun. anyway! bring your own top level~! )

Yeah. [ said a lot more fondly than he'd meant it to, so he quickly covers it with a laugh. ] Relatively new? What, the book, yeah, probably.

{ trying to cover a little too late there, kaveh. a chuckle of his own follows. }

Goodness me, Kaveh, we both know I'm not referring to the book in his hand.

I wonder if you could say the same if you could see your face right now. If it helps, I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of. Or rather, I hope that isn't what this is.

...no. [ and thank archons for that. ] I'm not ashamed. [ he looks aside, because he can't look at ayato while he's actively teasing him. he needs to turn this around somehow. ]

I actually feel bad for everybody else. [ he preens, managing a light smirk. ] Because now he's mine.

{ he can try, but ayato keeps things very close to himself for a reason. good luck trying to do the same in return. }

Hmm, though I will be more curious to see how your painting is finished now. They do say that love makes things all the more brighter, I assume that while you will be putting a background it will be done in a way that compliments rather than distracts.

[ his face colors. ] ...mm, that was my intention. I was going to take a few creative liberties with it, but I'm not so sure I'm going to be able to finish it, at least not today. I don't want to ignore my guests, and I want to keep checking in on everybody to make sure they're having a good time. [ sometimes being a host is a lot. ] But if I do finish it I'll have to come let you see.

I can definitely understand that. I shouldn't take up more of your time if you have other guests to greet as well. But I'll look forward to seeing the final work whenever you are finished.

I'll try to remember to let you know. But thank you, Ayato, for dropping by, and I hope you continue to enjoy yourself. [ and with that kaveh does head off to go check up on a couple of other guests. he never does get back to his own painting, but he does plan on trying to finish it after hours, so to speak. ]

he may find ayato and ayaka have disappeared without saying goodbye later on, but he'll get a message later that night thanking him for inviting them both, as well as apologising they'd had to leave without saying goodbye as ayaka had been feeling dizzy. }
