WHERE: Spring Segment, Prism Lake
WARNINGS: Drunk Painting.


[ kaveh decided to set up the paint & pour on the shores of prism lake, because a beautiful landscape seemed like something that artists of all skill level could enjoy creating. not to mention, it's also something that probably wouldn't suffer too much if/when guests inevitably started getting tispy. ]

[ there are three canopy tents framing the lake and, unsurprisingly, the first of which has all manner of art supplies: canvases, easels, and paints. the second has an assortment of delicious snacks made by shigeru and the third, final, and likely most anticipated has the wine. there are at least a dozen bottles, each labeled with the segment and shop it came from, because kaveh absolutely went around with the intention of helping them promote their business. ]

( ooc; feel free to assume that your character received an invitation from either kaveh or shigeru. it IS open to the public though, so if your character is strolling by and so much as makes eye contact with either of them, then they'll likely get dragged into the fun. anyway! bring your own top level~! )

[ kaveh chews on his lip as he turns away from ayato. ] What would possess somebody to paint him? [ don't @ him. ]

I could ask the same thing, I feel as though 'muse' is an understatement in this case.

A muse is merely something that inspires in an artistic sense. If that were merely the case, you wouldn't have been so jealous.

Maybe I just don't want anybody else using him for inspiration. I'm the one that has to live with him and all of this is going to go right to his head. I'm never going to hear the end of it.

Really? Alhaitham didn't seem the type to brag about being used for pictures. Perhaps I was mistaken on my first impressions of him?

[ kaveh folds his arms. ] I dragged him here, and he's getting all the attention, so of course I'm going to hear all about it. Just because you're not going to see it doesn't mean it's not going to happen. People are different behind closed doors. [ probably like you, ayato. ]

Why? Were you hoping to be the model for people to sketch today? I don't see why it matters if not.

Me? No. But he's not interested in the attention. He just wants to read, ...so the fact that he couldn't do so is in peace is what's going to be the problem. [ yes, listen to his woes. ]

Ah, so that's it? Painting is quite a quiet activity though, isn't it? Surely he can ready while people paint him?

Yeah. [ said a lot more fondly than he'd meant it to, so he quickly covers it with a laugh. ] Relatively new? What, the book, yeah, probably.

{ trying to cover a little too late there, kaveh. a chuckle of his own follows. }

Goodness me, Kaveh, we both know I'm not referring to the book in his hand.
