WHERE: Spring Segment, Prism Lake
WARNINGS: Drunk Painting.


[ kaveh decided to set up the paint & pour on the shores of prism lake, because a beautiful landscape seemed like something that artists of all skill level could enjoy creating. not to mention, it's also something that probably wouldn't suffer too much if/when guests inevitably started getting tispy. ]

[ there are three canopy tents framing the lake and, unsurprisingly, the first of which has all manner of art supplies: canvases, easels, and paints. the second has an assortment of delicious snacks made by shigeru and the third, final, and likely most anticipated has the wine. there are at least a dozen bottles, each labeled with the segment and shop it came from, because kaveh absolutely went around with the intention of helping them promote their business. ]

everybody wins!! ]


( ooc; feel free to assume that your character received an invitation from either kaveh or shigeru. it IS open to the public though, so if your character is strolling by and so much as makes eye contact with either of them, then they'll likely get dragged into the fun. anyway! bring your own top level~! )

...I just brought you something to eat. [ don't make him snatch it back, because he will. ] Did you want something to drink too, my grandest of acting grand sages.

[ He reaches up a hand to swat away Kaveh's hand from his hair. ]

And I'm a translator at the moment, Kaveh, have you already forgotten?

[ kaveh takes his hand back and drops into a seat beside alhaitham, taking a few sips of his wine. ] I remember, Alhaitham, my memory isn't that bad. [ ... ] Did you know several people have decided to paint you, of all things? Ridiculous, [ he glances sidelong at him, trying to gauge his reaction. ] right? [ no i'm not jealous!!! ]

[ Tucking his book away for the time being, he starts in on the food that he'd been given, quietly grateful for the effort saved in having to get it himself. ]

I hadn't been aware I was in the way of the view. But I suppose it makes sense.

[ No he will not elaborate further on that, not immediately anyway. ]

[ what's that supposed to mean? ] ...you should put on a jacket, it's getting chilly.

[rudementary]

Is it? I feel fine.

If anything, it's warm out.

[ ...you're doing this on purpose. ]

Yes, it is. [ as if stating it so adamantly would make it so. ]

[ Yes, yes he is. ]

Perhaps I should take off my coat then.

[ As if his coat isn't half-off his body at all times already anyway. ]

W- Wait, no! I didn't mean warm. Cold, it's cold, keep it on. In fact [ he's hastily taking off his shawl piece and throwing it at alhaitham. ]

[rudementary]

[ His face may be partly hidden from the shawl suddenly thrown on him but the emotion this specific icon brings radiates out from underneath the material. ]

... Kaveh.

What? I'm just looking out for you.

[rudementary]

You mean my chest.

It's fine, Kaveh. I don't mind it.

...alright. If you're fine with it.

[ Sliding off the shawl, throwing it around Kaveh's shoulders to tug him in so he can't deflect. Physically, anyway. ]

Are you?

[ stumbles, bracing himself on alhaitham's chest, because ofc. he hastily takes his hands back and looks aside. ] I... I don't love it.

[rudementary]

[ That admission is progress, he'll take it. His grip on the shawl loosens to let Kaveh pull back if he'd like. ]

So just ask me.

Or perhaps to a more amusing point, tell them why they can't look.

[ he keeps close to him. ] If it doesn't bother you, then I'm not going to ask you to, what, stop? All you're doing is sitting here. [ his face colors as he tells him his 'other' option. ] ...I could, yeah.

[rudementary]

[ He's admittedly amused at the way Kaveh flushes, what a sight he always makes like this. And now, Alhaitham feels perfectly comfortable with raising his hand to let his bare fingers brush again Kaveh's cheek, intent on flustering him more. ]

Or were you planning to keep us a secret?

[noarchitact]

[ the color of his cheeks darken at the gesture, and the follow-up question has him turning his head hide in his palm. ] … [ he hadn’t thought about it, but things are different here, and he’s not ashamed of his situation, since it’s quite the opposite at the moment. he’ll turn things around back home too, he just needs time… ]

[ as for the question, ] No. I’d rather not. [ he kisses the inside of his palm and then peels his hand away, so he can lean up and give alhaitham a kiss too. ]

[ He's smug, of course he is, when he meets Kaveh in that light kiss and listen there might be a shawl over them right now but he's pretty sure everyone here already has an idea what's going on. ]

[ good, then they’ll know that they’re a couple, and that the chest is off limits. ] You should let me draw you later.

[rudementary]

[ He lowers the shawl around them, settling it back onto Kaveh's shoulders as he sits back. ]

You don't want to now?
