WHO: Kaveh, Shigeru, & YOU.
WHAT: Paint & Pour.

WHERE: Spring Segment, Prism Lake
WARNINGS: Drunk Painting.


[ kaveh decided to set up the paint & pour on the shores of prism lake, because a beautiful landscape seemed like something that artists of all skill level could enjoy creating. not to mention, it's also something that probably wouldn't suffer too much if/when guests inevitably started getting tispy. ]

[ there are three canopy tents framing the lake and, unsurprisingly, the first of which has all manner of art supplies: canvases, easels, and paints. the second has an assortment of delicious snacks made by shigeru and the third, final, and likely most anticipated has the wine. there are at least a dozen bottles, each labeled with the segment and shop it came from, because kaveh absolutely went around with the intention of helping them promote their business. ]

everybody wins!! ]


( ooc; feel free to assume that your character received an invitation from either kaveh or shigeru. it IS open to the public though, so if your character is strolling by and so much as makes eye contact with either of them, then they'll likely get dragged into the fun. anyway! bring your own top level~! )

Saya! [ as soon as he catches her filling her plate in the snack tent he heads on over there to greet her. ] I'm so glad you could make it. [ kaveh is positively delighted. if she didn't have her hands full she might have gotten a hug. for now, kaveh settles on setting his wine glass down to grab a plate of his own... piling it high with all sorts of this and that. ]

I saw your painting and truly~ you are a woman of many talents.

Of course I made it, you asked after all. And you came to my karaoke thing. [ Even if he'd ditched karaoke, she'd have come. She likes him. ]

I'm not as good at painting as fighting or music, but my owner wanted me to be well-rounded or whatever.

I knew it was going to be a lot of fun, and I was right, I just wish I had gotten there sooner. [ and perhaps not ended up blackout drunk. ]

I'm not much of a fighter... but I can appreciate it for what it is. Some people can train and hone their bodies to do incredible things and show off amazing feats of agility and strength. [ makes a mental note of the owner comment, his lips briefly twitching into a frown. ]

It's fine. There's no such thing as late to a party. [ Can't help with the blackout drunk thing, sorry. ]

I think in my case it's mostly genetic, but I do train a lot. Mostly that's because I enjoy it. It's hard to be much better than I am.

Good to know. [ since he might never be on time. and that's alright. he's a lightweight, so there's no helping it. ]

I wonder if someone will host a tournament for those interested in fighting. [ no killing! obviously!! ] I know there are a lot of skilled parties, and it would certainly draw a crowd. Not to mention you could test your metal against other people that enjoy it as much as you.

I'll talk to Yuri about it. Maybe we can use it to raise money for the guild branch we're starting here. Besides, I know he'd be interested. We might as well make some money off it.

[ As long as there are no command outfit choices and people get to choose whether to fight, it's different enough from Tokyo-F. ]

[ quirks a brow. ] Ambitious. I didn't know you could start your own guild.

There doesn't seem to be a limit on businesses. They probably won't recognize it as an official guild, but that's fine. It's more a jack-of-all-trades type service, as I understand it.

I'm not really used to having a real job. It's sort of fun. [ Pampered queen toils with the masses, news at 11. ]

Mm, I understand, I’m not exactly use to having to work your standard 9-5. [ he makes a face. ] I could make my own hours as an architect, although securing work could be an issue. At least now [ he sighs lightly. ] I have a steady income…

[ Two pampered princesses, then. Quite a pair they make. ]

Maybe you could open your own business. I'm sure people would hire you to design their rooms and expansions if that's something you're interested in.

I might. [ hums, thoughtful. ] I guess once people start moving out of the apartments they may need somebody to design their house or, like you said, rooms and expansions.

I should have asked you before I bought the music room we just got, it's got a concert hall sort of vibe. My husband got a tea room, too.

Next time then. I do need to get a business permit and figure out how I want to do things here, but I'm looking forward to getting another chance at it.

I'll have to think of an expansion that will be worthy of your talents. I wouldn't want to waste your efforts on something basic.
