Maria enters the chat!
WHO: Maria Robotnik and YOU!
WHAT: Maria arrives in Ellipsa.
WHEN: At least a week after the sky is restored.
WHERE: The Hospital, The Welcome Center. Will probably end up at the Hedgehaus.
WARNINGS: None that I can think of!
[[ooc: This Maria is completely separate from the Maria that was here previously! So she won’t recall events or previous CR! However I am more than happy to rekindle her previous relationships in Ellipsa (and of course make new ones). I wanted her to arrive after a long enough period after the previous one disappeared so that the hedgehog boys at Hedgehaus get a chance to realize she was gone.

The Hospital
Maria’s arrival had been a blur from her perspective. When she had appeared at the research center, she had collapsed and had been deemed medically at risk despite no visible injury. She had been whisked away to the hospital to be tended to before she could hear the holographic message to the newly arrived Otherworlders. It was there where she was stabilized and slept for a couple days under observation. Blissfully unaware of the emergency Ellipsa had faced only recently and her dreams filled with beautiful cherry blossoms and meadows of soft green grass.
Later in the week when she was awake and feeling better, Maria was able to wander around the wing she was staying in. She held on to her IV pole as she meandered about in a little bit of a daze, dressed in a hospital gown and a robe and wearing slippers on her feet. Where was she? This wasn’t the Space Colony Ark. Where was Grandfather?
Was she back on Earth?
She stood in a seating area, leaning up against the large windows to look out at a bustling city she didn’t recognize. Everything before she woke up was jumbled and hazy. What had happened? She had been in a large space with a lot of people. She had fainted. She kept remembering cherry trees? But before that...she was in space….there was shouting…running. The sound of hurried bootsteps…the taste of fear.
Maria shook her head, shoving those thoughts away and feeling an ache in her chest as her heart raced. She quickly blinked tears away from her vision. Everyone was okay, right? Oh, where was Grandfather?
Where was Shadow?!
The Welcome Center
After at least a week in the hospital, Maria was able to be safely discharged. Though the doctors looking after her care there had set up regular appointments for her to attend so they could monitor her condition. At first, Maria had been at a complete loss on what to do. But she was urged to head to the research and welcome centers for otherworlders that thankfully was near to the hospital.
So that was how Maria found herself at the Welcome Center. She had a brief stop at the Research Center next door to receive her phone and to hear the recording of the message she had missed upon her arrival. Her golden hair made her easy to spot and the hospital had given her back her blue dress, sweater and other accessories after she had a shower and brushed her hair.
With her head swimming from all the information, she sat at one of the tables in the Welcome Center with a cup of herbal tea and a pile of pamphlets. One of the volunteers there had spent some time with her to show her how to use the phone device. She had the map up on the screen currently, looking over the sheer scope of Ellipsa in quiet amazement.
Wildcard!

Anyone can bump into her at the research center, welcome center or even outside those buildings as she traverses to them from the nearby hospital. Just let me know in the subject header where your character bumps into her!
