its ok ive got like all of chipp's cr on speed dial--

[It may be the ramblings of a madman to anyone else, but to Chipp? He sees what's going on. He gets what's happening.
It's those blessings - like those chains had been. But going straight for Gabriel's powers...
On the one hand, he's flattered Ezra's worried he'd need something that strong for little ol' him!
On the other, it means Chipp is going to take him twice as seriously.

His own internal battery's already low... without a bright enough light to help him recharge on magic, just breathing is enough for Chipp to start running out. But... he feels like it'd almost be an insult to just use his Seasonal magic on Ezra, here.
So as the exorcist summons up the powers of Gabriel, Chipp summons up some powers of his own - holding his metal claws out to the side so he has the space to create Spin Jockey, grabbing it by the neck and preparing himself.

Not to block or anything. He's honestly not even sure if he could block; he's never seen Ezra fight before. So instead his plan is to leap out of the way, using his strength to propel himself high enough to land on a darkened streetlamp above the both of them, slinging that gigantic tombstone-banjo over his shoulder like it's nothing more than a club.]

Save your apologies for someone who deserves'em, frère - we both know they empty, anyway!

[Over his shoulder, Spin Jockey's already shifting into a form Chipp usually saves for opponents he considers particularly powerful - part of it flipping and turning so it can start up that spinning it's named for, the buzzsaw-like whirring loud enough to be heard from below.

Hopefully Ezra's dodging is on point, because it's obvious what comes next; without wasting even a moment, the Reaper's leaping back off that streetlamp with his Weapon aimed at Ezra below him.

Mostly. Mostly aimed at him.
Fighting someone who's still human, someone who's clearly a good person, Chipp would much rather give warning blows than go right for it - and if it misses, the way Spin Jockey slices into the pavement like it's butter probably makes it clear why.]
