I was stuck with the smallest of wings for a week that didn't do anything. When I finally managed to make big ones, it took me a week to keep the wings in form long enough to start learning how to fly with them.

[In other words, it's kind of hard.]

It really depends on how much effort you're willing to put into practicing and how well you know how to create fire in the first place.
