[ She looks up briefly and listens to Hijikata speak with a small, thoughtful smile. ]

That’s alright. I think… I think different people have different skills, and being able to cover for each other’s weak spots is why grouping up for tasks like this is the best way to go about them. I know this seems obvious, but I was reminded of it every time I went into the dungeon with my friends — um, back home, I mean.

[ She lowers her head again to focus on sorting the remains. The three skeletons laid out on the ground in front of her are starting to take shape, but there is a pile of bones to the side that she’s still working through. The fingers and toes are giving her a little trouble, but once she decides — or guesstimates, rather — which body they belong to, she has no problem assembling them correctly, like there’s an anatomical diagram etched into her memory that she’s simply following. ]

So it’s okay. If I was here alone, I certainly wouldn’t be able to break them apart this easily, and I don’t have telekinetic powers, so I don’t know how I’d collect them all again, either! But because we’re both here, we can do better than either of us would do on our own.

[ She gives a little laugh. ]
