[Frieda smiles, and her pride shines through. They have accomplished a lot, haven't they? The Darkness may still be present and cover large parts of this world, but they've made tangible improvements in the habitable areas, and between establishing peace in the Great Ocean Lake, restoring the fairies' home, and releasing the dragons from their prison behind the Frozen Falls, the scope is impressive! It bears to look back at those accomplishments sometimes.
When Falin asks about the trials, though, her brows furrow.]
The trials... they were very diverse. One had us cross a river covered by a thin sheet of crystal, and if it broke, the aquatic fae monsters in the water would attack us. Another had us turn into porcelain and make our way through a labyrinth full of traps.
[Her eyes wanders over her own hands, but the lines where Rinku used her kintsugi set to glue her broken fingers back together are so thin and faint, just a tinge lighter than the rest of her skin, that Falin would have to look closely to notice them.]
There were many more in the fae kingdom, but I... I only completed those two. In the ruins, we were magically transported into different trial locations. One I faced featured a huge swarm of aggressive birds. I intimidated them with my titan, and we later learned that we'd have failed the test if we'd harmed them.
[There were so many more trials in both locations that she heard about from the others, but those are the ones she can give first-hand accounts of.]
