[The moment that Hu Tao heard of the city quest, she figured that it was a rather easy job. After all, this seemed to be right up her alley! Finding ghosts and making sure they leave the city? It was no different than what she did back home. That said, she couldn't help but feel the need to call some of her friends. What better way than to get this done quickly than having a group work together?

As she stood in front of them with a huge smile on her face, she quickly pointed toward a trashcan!]

Are you guys ready? I think this is a bootiful day to find some ghosts!

You may be right, Xingqiu...

[Chongyun agrees that perhaps they might have to use force in this case. He's also just partly in shock that these ghosts don't seem to be frightened off by his pure-yang spirit! Or if they are, maybe that's why they're being whipped up into their little frenzy.]

[He notices how the ghosts seem to back up when Hu Tao approaches, and so Chongyun tries to step forward as well.]

Evil spirits! Your reign of terror ends now! Come out so you may be exorcised!

[With a glance at Hu Tao, he throws his talisman at the trash can, to see what happens!]

[As the tailsman hits the trash can, nothing happened. If anything, they seemed to stop moving for a moment before attempting to move forward once more! Although, for a split second, it seems that the ghosts did make a faint appearance above the cans to see what would happen.]

Aiya, I don't think that did much of anything. We need to do something else!

[That said, off she goes to an attempt to point her spear with a little bit of fire at the tip to see if it would do anything. The last thing she wanted was to burn the people alive...

And yet, they still back away. But the ghosts were starting to shake the trashcan a bit.]

[For all they know ghosts and spirits in this world act very differently than the ones in their home world. Xingqiu is making these observations with a keen eye. How the trash can doesn't react to Chongyun's talisman or much to Hu Tao's weapon.

The rattling...]

Hmm.

[He puts a hand on Chongyun's shoulder.]

If I may suggest, maybe you do have to shake the life out of these trash cans. For a lack of a better phrase. [He pushes Chongyun's shoulder.] Why don't you try that, Chongyun?

[Because he's sure that his friend would want to be up and close with the ghosts that get shaken out!]

W-What..?

[Chongyun is briefly surprised when his talisman does nothing. But he's sure he used the right one! But then, they also didn't react to Hu Tao's spear... Were these spirits different somehow?]

[He's pulled from his thoughts when Xingqiu puts his hand on his shoulder. He glances back at the other boy, blinking curiously.]

Shake them..? You think that would work?

[He turns to look at the trash can, and he nods. Whatever needs to be done to help the people!]

Alright. Hu Tao, I'll shake the trash can, and you and Xingqiu deal with anything that comes out, alright?

[And so, he'll move to the trash can and, once the others are ready, will give it a good, hard shake!]

Are you certain? What an odd way to bring the ghosts out but I'll give it a try!

[As she looked back at the trashcan and at them, she gave a nod before standing into position waiting to see what might come out.]

I'm ready whenever you are. You ready Xingqiu?

[feiyun]

[Better to shake the contents out than do any unneeded damage, he thinks! That and so long as it's not Xingqiu doing the actual trash can dirty work...

He holds his weapon at the ready, regardless.]

I'm prepared. If you would, Chongyun.

[And if the two of them do go ahead and rumble the trashcans they might shake out a ghost or two that fizzle up into the air to leave the trashcan unpossessed so- rattle away!!]

[Shake shake shake, shake those trash cans! And as he gives them a good shake, Chongyun's eyes widen as he sees the spiritual energy release from the trashcan and fade into the air.]

It's working..!

[Is this what it's like to truly exorcise evil spirits??]

[As Hu Tao started shaking the trashcans herself, that's when she noticed the ghosts slowly appearing before them. Granted, the people inside were telling them to stop but...!]

Is this what it is truly like to exorcise ghosts in this world? Well, that is enough to shake me down to my bones!
