[It takes him a moment to register that Pegasus is gone and he's standing on his feet (he did feel the rough landing and the need to brace himself with his legs, but somehow didn't fully process that the winged horse essentially evaporated under them, having spent itself on the attack). He lets go of Rider's waist, which he was still holding on to, draws his sword and moves towards the inured wyvern, intent on finishing it off. These monsters almost killed them; he's not going to let them get away!
He barely manages to take a few steps before the second wyvern lands in front of him with such force that it shakes the ground. One of its eyes is closed, perhaps to avoid the dark blood trickling down from where some scales got torn off its forehead, but nonetheless it immediately tries to burn him, and his standard response results in the same sick, weak feeling as before.]
So you're still standing, huh..?
[It seems that his vengeful anger got the better of him. Perhaps this wyvern would have let them run and tended to its worse-off peer, had it not sensed his malicious intent - but then again it might still have tried to kill them all the same. It attempts to stomp him, and he just barely avoids that fate (stumbling as he bolts back). He manages to cut the underside of its claw as it lifts it back up, making it emit a shrill screech - and at that point the wyvern has enough of him and simply smacks him away sideways, which sends him flying before hitting the ground and rolling for a good bit.]
