he's already slid his sword away when the area seems clear. there's certainly still remnants of fire around them, but it's slowly burning out as the last of the leaves are burned to a crisp. the ground itself doesn't carry the fire, after all. the lizards themselves lay limp, already long dead after their attacks crushed them beyond repair.
his eyes sweep over the area before falling back on childe. it's just them here now, the teleporter somewhere off in the distance, along with any other sign of civilization. }
