[ he wonders if nil could have known. nil knew him so well. and rafal knew nil like the twin he lost so soon after being born.
but nil didn't know what rafal would go on to do. ]
It is unlikely I would have survived at all. But it is not what I would deem fortunate, regardless.
[ because nil had to die for that. ]
