[ there's a moment of panic that overcomes him just before a sigh of relief as karoo comes to her aid. sabo manages to keep an eye (a chair...? well, whatever works, right?) on vivi while he wrangles with the ducks think that they've found themselves a worthy challenge in the three of them. especially when they find out that he isn't effected by any of the fire thrown his way and doesn't bother to move out of the way of rocks thrown at him. they'll just go right through him, so why bother?
just as long as they aren't throwing themselves physically at him, sabo is fine to deal with them like this. however, at the same time, this isn't sustainable. so, when one does lunge decide to lunge at him he decides to test something and allow his coat to be hit...only to turn and use it as a makeshift bag. it works moderately well. ]
