It hadn't been too long after Boothill and Dan Heng had reconnected once the space cowboy had arrived that Dan Heng decided to take it upon himself to teach Boothill to read. While Boothill wasn't entirely illiterate, he knew enough to get by (and read the bounties). But it was definitely difficult enough that he often choice to respond to any and all text with the "voice to text" feature and it wouldn't be the first time Dan Heng needed to read a menu for him.

One of the ways Dan Heng had decided to help him was to give him children's books to read, that way they could work up his reading level. And, that's where Boothill found himself now. In the children's section of the library in Amberfall, trying to figure out what book(s) to read next. It was mighty embarrassing, if he were honest, but Dan Heng was busy today and Boothill found himself with nothing to do and now he was partially regretting his decision to do this all by himself.

Especially when he could feel the curious gazes of other library-goers. He popped a bullet into his mouth, crunching on it loudly in order to distract himself. The kids watching were one thing (curious little things, they were) but adults? Ugh...

"Fork me..." He muttered, tipping his hat lower on his head. Maybe he ought to just come back later...
