At first, Wukong doesn't respond, letting Macaque support and hold him. Then he wraps his arms tight around his shadow, squeezing tight as he starts to sob into Macaque's shoulder. Later on, when he realizes what he's done Wukong will apologize, but for now Macaque has to deal with the scream of anguish that escape's Wukong as he clings to him.
