Closed waking log

WHO: Mobei-Jun and Shang Qinghua
WHAT: Post event shenanigans
WHEN: Just after the last event
WHERE: Winter, their home
WARNINGS: Nothing at the moment, will edit if needed

Mobei-Jun had waited all of five seconds after the nurse had stated his human should wake soon before simply willing them back to their little home. No need to show the rampage of the hospital room he'd gone on while the damned human had been unconscious.

At least this time he'd had something to cling to.

But even when he brings them back to their current little home,, he doesn't set the human down on the bed. Nope. Not good enough. He cradles the smaller form in his lap, staring intently (glaring, really, but Shang Qinghua might note a bit of frantic worry in his eyes) down at the man's face. Hopefully his hold isn't too rough...!

Good luck getting him to let go anytime soon.

The point of the simulation might have been to see how power uses stood up against the Darkness at full strength, but after his way too close encounter with the local imitation of a fucking Abyssal monster, Shang Qinghua had stuck to the safe..er zones for the rest of the time he was stuck in the Meta. For multiple reasons! First, he didn't like fighting. And second, Mobei wasn't there! Not even at the cloned version of their house!

At least waking up wasn't quite as jarring, slowly coming to consciousness instead of going from one location to another in a blink. He groaned, opening his eyes slowly before abruptly freezing with a squeak. Because no matter how much he'd missed having his king protecting looming over him, that didn't make immediately seeing his glare any less heart racing!

"My king?" he asked, voice small as he noticed more things. Like the fact that he was in Mobei-Jun's lap.

Oh good, less glaring. Less glaring in his direction was always a good thing. Even if the ice demon was so very handsome when he glared. It still wasn't good for his stress levels.

He nodded quickly at the order, swallowing. Was he allowed to get up? He wasn't really sure. "If it helps, this servant didn't try to this time?" Shang Qinghua defended lightly. "I would have told my king if I'd intended to join the experiment!"

He tried to sit up slowly. You know, before he was dumped out of Mobei's lap. Because while the burns had healed, they were still a little tender. Like a sun burn. And wouldn't feel good hitting the floor.

Shang Qinghua sucked in a breath when Mobei's hand landed on the burns, even with his king being unusually gentle. Which was his first sign that they'd followed him back to the real world, feeling the bandages hidden under the sleeping robe.

"This servant talked to other people in the meta, and there were others who were just minding their own business before being pulled in too. And I guess the safeties failed too..." He looked up at him, biting his lip. "But don't worry, my king. I'll be back in shape in no time!"
